Recently, it was revealed that Delhi has the worst water quality after water samples from the national capital failed in all the 19 parameters set by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS).
Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal also dismissed the report that said Delhi has the most polluted water. He stated that a city's water quality cannot be checked by just 11 samples.
Supreme Court had sought AQI data to determine if there had been a significant drop in the pollution levels of Delhi following the implementation of the odd-even scheme.
In early September, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had claimed that pollution had reduced in the national capital by 25% in four years, citing a report by Central Pollution Control Board.
