Let’s understand how the archaeologists determine the age, time and style of sculptures as well as what methods ASI will be using at the Gyanvapi survey site in Varanasi.
On July 21, Varanasi district judge AK Vishvesha ordered the ASI survey of the Gyanvapi complex on an application moved by four Hindu women on May 16, 2023.
The application could reportedly be taken up on August 4, Friday, according to Advocate Rajesh Mishra, the special counsel in the Gyanvapi cases in the Varanasi district court.
The Gyanvapi survey, which began on 24th July, three days after the Varanasi district court order, was put on hold by the High Court as the matter was still being heard in the Supreme Court.
In a short clip shared by ANI, UP CM Yogi Adityanath was seen saying that calling the structure a 'masjid' is a mistake, because anyone can see that it is not.
