Saqib Sheikh, who was cast by the far-left movie director Vishal Bharadwaj in his controversial propaganda movie "Haider" in a minor role, joined the terror group Lashkar-e-Taiba within months after featuring in the film.

A court in J&K had restrained the promoters of movie from showing scenes depicting late IAF Squadron Leader Ravi Khanna. This is after Nirmal Khanna, wife of the IAF officer, had approached the court seeking removal of scenes depicting her husband. She had alleged that the scenes showed in the movie were contrary to facts.
