Kerala Police has registered an FIR against Union Minister Suresh Gopi for allegedly misusing an ambulance by traveling on it to reach the Thrissur Pooram venue.

The UAPA charges filed against Dominic Martin were reportedly dropped after the state refused to prosecute him under the said act. Martin will now stand trial for offenses only under several sections of the IPC and the Explosives Act.

According to the police, all victims paid Sachitha via bank transfers and UPI. They estimate that she has collected over ₹2 crores so far from desperate jobseekers.
