Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Thursday wrote a letter to PM Narendra Modi and sought time from him to explain in person the party's 'Nyay Patra'.
PM Modi said, "The Congress's national president, and it's not a small post, said what is the use of talking about (Article) 370 after coming to Rajasthan? I feel ashamed in hearing that. Is Jammu and Kashmir not part of India?"
The party has promised that the banks will be compensated by the government for writing off student loans. The write-off is mentioned as a one-time measure of relief "due to widespread unemployment".
While the question was about the Congress party’s position on the Sandeshkhali issue, Mallikarjun Kharge explained the political landscape of West Bengal instead after bringing in MSP out of nowhere.
He told the Congress workers to understand that they have to fight, at some places have to fight alone and have to fight till the end and achieve victory. Koi Aye to theek, na aye to theek. Translation – It’s well and good if alliance partners contest with us, okay if they don’t want to join their fight.
NCP president Sharad Pawar said that all the members of the opposition's INDIA bloc agreed to the proposal that it should be headed by Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge.
