Kerala Police arrested 39-year-old Rahim Kolliyil of Kodungalloor in central Kerala, for suspected links to the six Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorists who had sneaked into Tamil Nadu by sea from Sri Lanka and were plotting a major attack across south India.

The Muslim mob did not even spare the police as they threw stones at even police officials injuring seven policemen. The police were quick to fire tear gas to disperse the crowd in the area.
As he returned back from Kanwar yatra to his village in Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh, he was allegedly beaten and his family was attacked by a group of Muslim men
