Punjab Police on Wednesday removed farmers from the Punjab-Haryana Shambhu Border who were sitting on a protest over various demands.

Suspending officers is not enough—the demand is clear: arrest the guilty officers, conduct a swift and transparent investigation, and ensure justice is served.

The FIR has been registered against unidentified persons. However, the Colonel's family members have accused Punjab police personnel of assaulting the father-son duo. Reportedly, the police personnel were in civil dress at the time of the incident.
