The Congress and CM Ashok Gehlot have been firmly asserting that they have a majority and the Rajasthan government is stable. The sudden audio drama and claims of a Congress MLA saying that they do not have the numbers adds new twist to the political development in the state.

While Ashok Gehlot has been claiming that his government is stable and he has the numbers, Sachin Pilot has stated multiple times that Gehlot has lost majority.

Sachin Pilot has expressed disappointment at Ashok Gehlot-run Rajasthan government and said that the government has failed to try and fulfil the promise it made to the people who voted for them.

BTP has 2 MLAs in the Rajasthan assembly and party chief Mahesh Vasava had issued a notice asking them to remain neutral and not support either Congress, BJP or Pilot.

Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala today announced that Congress rebel leader Sachin Pilot has been sacked as Rajasthan state Congress chief and removed from his post of Deputy Chief Minister of the state.

Reports claimed that 107 MLAs, including some independents, were present at the CM's residence. Congress has moved its MLAs to a resort in Jaipur.

Speculations are rife that Sachin Pilot may join the BJP soon. Congress is still claiming that it has the majority numbers in Rajasthan and Ashok Gehlot's government is stable.
