Mamata Banerjee's appeal to the protesting doctors to end the strike and resume work has been declined by the junior doctors who said that there was no honest effort on the part of the Chief Minister to break the deadlock and that what she said in the press conference was not true.
The Islamisation of Bengal has been a slow and steady process, repetitive governments have chosen to ignore their rising population, rather using the community as a vote bank.
While the doctors are insisting that Mamata Banerjee visits the NRS hospital personally to meet the protesting doctors, Banerjee on her part has not done that yet as is instead issuing appeals.
Joining the doctors' strike, the Indian Medical Association (IMA), which has 3.5 lakh doctors as its members, has also declared a pan-India strike starting on 17th June from 6 am till 6 am on 18th June.
