On Wednesday, massive violence erupted in the Murshidabad district of West Bengal after a Ram Navami procession was brutally attacked

Mamata Banerjee extended 'wishes' to the Hindu community on the occasion of Ram Navami. "Greetings to all on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami. I appeal to maintain peace, prosperity, and development for all," Banerjee said blatantly holding Hindus responsible for the violence in the state like every time.

Meanwhile, the police have said that no public display of weapons during processions on the festive occasion will be allowed. They added that “some traditional groups and akharas have been given permission. Even their processions will be videographed.”

While revoking permission to celebrate Ram Navami at campus, Jadavpur University said in its notice that they recieved complaints of communal threats from different groups of students at the University, which might lead to the disruption of peace and harmony within the campus.

In her Cooch Behar rally, Mamata Banerjee fearmongered about “impending riots” alleging that the blame will be on BJP for the same.

"Hindus targeted in West Bengal under Mamata Banerjee's regime," the X handle of BJP added.
