At least three killed and several injured in a blast at Amritsar’s Nirankari Bhawan

This deadly blast comes after intelligence agencies' inputs that dreaded terrorist and Jaish terrorist Zakir Moosa was spotted in Amritsar.

A blast rocked Nirankari Bhawan in Amritsar’s Rajasansi village on Sunday morning which left at least three people dead and several others injured, reported ANI.

According to the reports, the blast has occurred at a weekly gathering of the Nirankaris, a spiritual organisation, in Adliwal village of Amritsar, said deputy commissioner, Kamaldeep Singh Sangha, adding that three people were killed and several injured.

It is reported that two youths threw bombs at a stage of the Nirankari Bhawan. Four others are in critical condition after suffering from the blast and are admitted to the civil hospital.

The Punjab police immediately arrived at the spot and have taken control of the whole area around the Nirankari Bhawan. The police have blocked the entire area and are conducting an investigation regarding the details of the explosion.

This deadly blast comes after intelligence agencies’ inputs that dreaded terrorist and Jaish terrorist Zakir Moosa was spotted in Amritsar. The Punjab Police had released the posters of Moosa and requested people to stay alert and share any information related to the terrorist.
