Kashmiri Hindu Exodus: Actor Anupam Kher shares emotional post on social media about the plight of the displaced Hindus

The Kashmiri Hindu community observes January 19 as the Kashmiri Hindus Exodus Day to mark their exit from the Kashmir Valley due to Pakistan-sponsored Islamic terrorism.

On the anniversary of 35 years of the Kashmiri Hindu Exodus, actor Anupam Kher shared an emotional message on his X (formerly Twitter) account. He recited a poem describing the plight of those who lost their homes.

Anupam Kher wrote, “19th January 1990 #KashmirHindus Exodus Day! It has been 35 years since more than 500000 Hindus were thrown out of their homes. Those homes are still there. But haunted and forgotten! #SunayanaKachrooBhide has written a heartbreaking poem about memories of those homes. The lines will resonate with all the #KashmiriPandits who were the victims of this mammoth tragedy. It’s both- SAD & TRUE!”.
