The police have uncovered new details in the murder case of a young man named Mukesh in Senthal, under the Hafizganj police station area of Bareilly. The investigation revealed that Mukesh was killed because of his secret relationship with a married woman. The police arrested the woman, Nagma, and her husband, Shanu, and sent both to jail. During questioning, they admitted to the crime.

Superintendent of Police (North), Mukesh Chandra Mishra, said that Mukesh, who was 22 years old, was found dead in a wheat field near Senthal on the morning of 5th December. The post-mortem report showed that Mukesh was strangled and beaten badly before he died. The police took Shanu and Nagma from a nearby village for questioning based on suspicion.
During the investigation, Shanu revealed that he had married Nagma about a month and a half ago. But he later found out that Nagma and Mukesh had a relationship even before she got married. They kept talking on the phone even after her marriage.
On the night of 4th December, when Shanu came back home from a fair and caught Mukesh with his wife, Nagma, in a suspicious position. In anger, he beat both of them. After some time, they both apologised to calm things down.
Later, Nagma joined her husband and convinced Mukesh to go with her to some woods near a dargah late at night.
There, Nagma attacked Mukesh by sitting on his chest and started beating him. Then, with Shanu’s help, they tied Mukesh’s mouth and strangled him till he died from suffocation.
