Madhya Pradesh: Abdul Faraz Khan poses as ‘Rahul’, sexually exploits Hindu woman for over a year in Jabalpur, blackmails with intimate videos; arrested

A shocking case has come to light in Jabalpur, where a married Muslim man with two children has been arrested for sexually exploiting a young Hindu woman for over a year and blackmailing her with videos. The accused in this case is a resident of the Purana Bus Stand area in Jabalpur city and has been identified as Abdul Faraz Khan.

According to police, Khan approached the Hindu woman using a Hindu name, “Rahul,” and built a relationship with her by promising marriage. After gaining her trust, he took her to Jabalpur and other cities, where he repeatedly raped her. The woman later discovered his real identity as a Muslim and found out that he was already married and had two children.

When she tried to distance herself from Khan, he started threatening her. He warned that he would release her intimate videos and continued to blackmail her. The constant harassment and death threats pushed the woman into severe mental stress. She even started thinking of contemplating suicide.

The victim further told police that she was given intoxicating substances during the assaults, and Khan recorded videos with the intention of using them against her later. After advice from lawyers, the victim finally decided to approach the police and register her complaint.

The FIR has been registered at Omti Police Station under various sections of the law. Station in-charge Rajpal Singh Baghel confirmed that the accused is now in police custody.

Lawyers have demanded strict action, stating it is a case of “love jihad.” The case is still under investigation.
