The police and local authorities have implemented strict measures against a rapist named Farman Ali. He is charged with the rape of his eight-year-old Dalit girl neighbour in the Rahra police station area of Amroha, Uttar Pradesh. On the evening of 8th June (Monday), the district administration used a bulldozer to demolish his unlawful residence.

Farman Ali has been evading capture since the incident, and various police teams are persistently conducting searches to apprehend him. According to the police, the victim was playing outside her home in the village when she was lured into a field and committed the heinous act. She somehow managed to return home and told her family members about the incident.

The police were notified and promptly registered a case, commencing an investigation. The police arrived at Farman Ali’s residence to arrest him, but he had already escaped. The police allowed the family time to produce him, but the accused did not come forward even after the designated period had passed.

Subsequently, a team from the Revenue Department conducted an inspection of his house and discovered that part of the construction was illegal. Later in the evening, the administration proceeded to demolish the illegal rooms and bathroom using a JCB machine. A significant number of villagers gathered at the scene during the operation. The police have filed a case against the accused under the applicable sections of the BNS, the POCSO Act and the SC/ST Act.
