Days after Congress formed its government in Madhya Pradesh, a video of Congress leader Ramesh Kashyap and his supporters indulging in violence with toll booth workers has surfaced. According to the reports, the Congress leader was travelling with his family in his car in Pithampur passing through the Indorama toll when the incident occurred.

A video capturing the VVIP Congress Neta’s hooliganism has been doing the rounds on social media. The Congress leader mounted a physical assault on the toll worker when he insisted the minister to pay the toll charge if he wanted to pass through it. Following which the Congress leader’s supporters indulged in a violent ruckus with the toll booth workers. It can be seen in the video that the Congress leader’s supporters misbehaved with the employees at the toll booth and thrashed them with sticks and iron rods. At least 7 people received injuries in the clash.
The police in charge of administering the law and order in the area have taken cognisance of the incident and have launched an investigation into the matter. According to the police, Ramesh Kashyap, his and his driver are among the people injured.
Condemning the unruly behaviour displayed by Congress minister, the BJP leader Dr Hitesh Bajpai said that as soon as the Congress comes to power, the party workers “abandon their dignity and compassion. This is typical of Congress.” He also went on to claim that when the BJP talks about Congress-mukt Bharat, it is about the extermination of this kind of culture, the ‘vulture culture’.
