Congress party workers stirred the hornet’s nest on Sunday (14th December) by issuing death threats to Prime Minister Narendra Modi during their march to Ramlila Maidan in Delhi.
In videos that have surfaced on social media, they were heard chanting “Modi teri kabar khudegi, aaj nahi to kal khudegi (Modi, we will bury you today or tomorrow).”
Besides their direct threat to life to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Congress workers also yelled “Vote chor gaddi chod, vote chor gaddi chod” over and over in line with the rhetoric of Rahul Gandhi.
"MODI TERI KABRA KHUDEGI".

The event, led by senior leaders including Rahul Gandhi, aimed to protest by claiming “vote chori” (vote theft) and manipulations in recent elections.
Organisers specifically targeted the Election Commission’s Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of voter rolls, claiming it disenfranchised millions and rigged outcomes in favour of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Thousands gathered under banners slamming election fraud, and speeches fired up calls for the Modi government to step down. The rally ramps up the opposition’s harsh words during these heated political tensions.
BJP National Spokesperson Pratap Bhandari hit back fast. He shared the video on social media, Twitter and said, “People of India will respond to this threat by saying: ‘MODI TERA KAMAL KHILEGA’.” Bhandari called Congress an “anti-national” group under Rahul Gandhi and told voters to shut down this kind of hate speech.
