The Mumbai Police have been working to investigate how the accused Shariful Islam Shehzad, a Bangladeshi illegal immigrant, carried out the attack on actor Saif Ali Khan inside his residence in Bandra.
The accused was taken to multiple locations to recreate the crime scene by the police teams on Tuesday morning. As per reports, from Khan’s Bandra residence, the accused was taken to National College Bus Stop and then to the Bandra railway station.

The attacker was nabbed after multiple raids following the brutal attack on the actor last week. Saif Ali Khan was rushed to the Lilavati Hospital after he received serious knife injurices in his neck, chest and spine from the attacker.
As per reports, the accused Mohammad Shariful Islam Shehzad has been charged under the sections 311, 312, 331(4), 331(6), and 331(7) of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita.
The accused was nabbed from the Hiranandani Estate in Thane and some reports have stated that the police have matched his fingerprints in the crime scene. He is a native of Jholakati in Bangladesh and was staying in India under a false name of Vijay Das.
