Owner of the Khan Global Studies (KGS) Institute in Musallahpur Hat, Patna, Faizal Khan, is in trouble again after a woman accused him of giving her death threats. Speaking to the media on Wednesday (26th August), the woman, named Husnara Khatun, submitted a complaint at the Pirbahore Police Station in Patna, Bihar. However, no FIR has yet been lodged against Faisal Khan, popularly known as Khan Sir, based on her complaint.
Husnara Khatun said that she has known Faisal Khan since 2017, when he started a coaching class in the Naya Gaon area. She said that Khan was in a relationship with her roommate Sabina Khatun. The woman, a native of Uttar Pradesh, said that Khan used to visit her room to meet his girlfriend every Sunday and on every day off. This caused her great inconvenience, as Khan used to lock the room and stay inside with his girlfriend. As a result, Husnara Khatun had to stay outside or on the terrace for 7-8 hours, waiting for him to unlock the room.
Khatun added that Faisal Khan would not open the room even after she knocked at the door. When she objected to this behaviour, Faisal Khan harassed her and threatened to get her jailed or killed.
“My roommate, Sabina Khatun, was his girlfriend, and in 2017 he used to visit our room every Sunday and on every day off. We objected to this, which led to two months of frequent fights and disputes between us, as well as police involvement. He tried every possible way to kill me. Khan Sir was my roommate’s boyfriend, which is why he used to come to the room. He would lock the room and stay inside with Savina Khatun. Even when we knocked on the door, they would not open it, and we would have to stay outside or on the terrace for seven to eight hours. Because of this, he harassed me a lot…” Husnara Khatun said.

‘If an innocent like Ajmal Kasab can be hanged, you could be arrested too’
Narrating her ordeal, Husnara Khatun said that her conflict with Faisal Khan went on for a couple of months, during which he kept threatening and intimidating her. She said that when he threatened to get her jailed, she replied, saying that she would not be jailed since she had not done anything wrong.
In response to this, Faisal Khan cited the example of terrorist Ajmal Kasab, who was executed after being found guilty in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack case. According to Husnara Khatun, Khan called terrorist Ajmal Kasab ‘innocent’ and said that if Kasab could be hanged to death despite being innocent, she could definitely be jailed irrespective of her guilt.
When asked why Faisal Khan was threatening her, Khatun said that it’s because she knows many of his secrets. She accused Khan of stealing her money and making fake calls to her relatives, telling them that she was in jail. “He pretends to be charitable and claims to help the poor, yet he stole my ₹4500. If he was really the nice man he claims to be, he should have returned my money,” the woman said, adding that Khan forced her to leave her room and then asked her to leave the city.
Expressing fear for her safety, Husnara Khatun said that when Faisal Khan can get the brother of his rival, Roushan Sir, killed, she stands no chance. That’s why she approached the Pirbahore Police Station seeking protection. The police took cognisance of the matter and recorded her statement. Patna Town DSP Rajesh Kumar said that the victim submitted a formal complaint at the Pirbahore police station, in which she expressed an apprehension for her safety. An investigation has been initiated in the case.
Allegations against Khan Sir
Faisal Khan was accused by Roshan Anand, director of the “Gyan Bindu” coaching centre, of killing his brother, Prince Yadav. Yadav was found dead under suspicious circumstances in a hotel in Nepal in June this year. He was accused in the firing incident at Khan’s coaching centre. Raushan Anand and Faisal Khan are rivals as both run coaching centres to train government job aspirants. Anand has alleged that Khan and others were involved in a deep criminal conspiracy and planned to ruin him and his family.
