On Thursday (9th January), YouTuber Ravish Kumar exhibited his ‘journalistic acumen’ by fact-checking a joke made by Elon Musk at the expense of Democratic Presidential nominee Kamla Harris.
Kumar, who seems to have no understanding of humour, assumed that the Tesla CEO did not how to differentiate between real images and the ones generated by Artificial Intelligence (AI).
In all earnest, the YouTuber claimed, “Elon Musk has tweeted this image. Kamala Harris is seen wearing a red coat and a cap, bearing a hammer and sickle…It was clear that the image was generated by AI. Despite this, Musk lied that it was a real picture of Kamala Harris.”

“There are 84 million views on this tweet and no community note,” Ravish Kumar further displayed his journalistic prowess.
Elon Musk had posted the said tweet in September 2024 i.e. about a month ahead of the US Presidential Elections. He was essentially mocking Kamala Harris for falsely claiming that Donald Trump wanted to be a dictator.

“Kamala vows to be a communist dictator on day one. Can you believe she wears that outfit!?” he hit back at her. However, the joke was beyond the comprehension skills of YouTuber Ravish Kumar.
