On 21st September 2019, a 15-year-old minor Dalit girl was gang-raped by three men in Ghosia village of Kaushambi district near Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. The criminals had also filmed the act while the girl had been begging them for mercy in Allah's name.

The victim was found lying in the coaching institute's toilet in an unconscious state in the evening, hours after her family initiated a search.
