Gujarat Police booked Maulana Mufti Salman Azhari in a second case related to inflammatory speech which was delivered in Kutch

Mufti Salman Azhari was arrested by Gujarat police in Maharashtra on February 4 for provocative speech.

Muslims from across Mumbai assembled outside the Ghatkopar police station in the hopes of intimidating the police into releasing Salman Azhari.

"Maulana Mufti Salman Azhari came to the police station with them and also cooperated but there is no reply yet...Maulana Mufti Salman Azhari is ready to cooperate but the police are not giving any reply..." Sheikh said.

The Police took cognizance of the event and arrested the accused for murdering Gadhvi. Also, considering the sensitivity of the incident, the police deployed some security staff in Labhnagar to avoid any untoward incidents further.

The complainant was made aware of the derogatory photos by his sister. She said that some objectionable posts were being uploaded from the Snapchat account created in the name of his wife.
