India, the US, Saudi Arabia and the EU announced a historic agreement to launch a mega India-Middle East-Europe shipping and railway connectivity corridor.
The rail-shipping corridor project aims to establish railway connections between Arab countries in the Levant and the Gulf, with additional plans to link to India through Gulf seaports. The other end of the project may subsequently extend to Europe.
