TMC MP Mahua Moitra reached the Parliament to dispose before the Parliament Ethics Committee in the ‘cash for query scam’ carrying a laptop bag, an expensive designer handbag and a tiffin bag

Moitra is scheduled to appear before the ethics panel on November 2. Earlier, tycoon Darshan Hiranandani, who lives in Dubai, had confirmed that he had access to the MP's parliamentary login ID.

The Trinamool Congress leader Mahua Moitra's Lawyer on Tuesday informed the Delhi High Court that they are not pressing for any relief in the suit against media houses and social media intermediaries.

Mahua Moitra had approached the Delhi High Court to restrain BJP MP Nishikant Dubey, Advocate Jai Anant Dehadrai, and various media organizations from posting, circulating or publishing any fake or defamatory content against her. The lawsuit was due for hearing today on 20th October.

Moitra went on to claim that the PMO "held a proverbial gun to Darshan and his father's heads and gave them 20 minutes to sign this letter sent to them." She alleged that the PMO threatened the Hiranandanis to give in to their demands or the "CBI would raid them and all government business would stop and all PSU bank financing would be stopped immediately."
