Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut demanded special protection for satirist Kunal Kamra on Saturday, after three more cases were filed against him at Khar police station for his alleged controversial remarks about Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.
In 2011, Hamid was detained after mob violence erupted in Mominpura over the controversial burial of Sufi saint Baba Mustafa. He allegedly played an important role in the unrest, linked to internal disputes.
