After curfew restrictions were lifted across Nagpur following recent violence, Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis assured that the situation in the city is completely peaceful and that there is no need for a curfew.
It has been reported that most of the injured victims have head injuries due to stone pelting with multiple victims requiring CT scans and surgical intervention. Those injured mostly included men in the age range of 24 to 40.

While returning after taking the prasad, suddenly stone pelting started a little distance away from the mosque. The car was vandalized. Slogans of Allahu Akbar were being raised there.”
In the video that is going viral on social media, a large number of Muslim men, presumably from Shab-e-Barat, could be seen creating a ruckus at the Jama Masjid metro station.
