BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari has free legal assistance to social media users who have been targeted by Bengal police for their online comments on RG Kar hospital incident
In a letter to the Union Home Secretary Ajay Kumar Bhalla, Suvendu Adhikari claimed that goons sent by the ruling Trinamool Congress government attacked the hospital to destroy evidence of last week's rape and murder of the trainee doctor at the hospital.
"There was no election in the by-election… in the polls, no one was allowed to vote. Suvendu da also said that Hindu people were not allowed to vote," Chatterjee told ANI.
As a backlash developed over his words, Adhikari stated that PM Modi's 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas' slogan represented the NDA government's aim, and he meant to emphasize that the BJP in Bengal should connect with those who support them politically.
Alleging that the state police controlled the central forces throughout the polling process, Suvendu Adhikari asserted that false voting had ruined BJP's chances in several constituencies in West Bengal.
