All is well, Sharad Pawar still our leader: Ajit Pawar updates Twitter bio, assures BJP-NCP alliance will provide stable govt in Maharashtra

Thanking everyone for the support, Pawar said that a little bit of patience is needed and that there is no need to worry.

NCP leader and Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar today took to Twitter to assure people of Maharashtra that ‘all is well’ and said that a little bit of patience is needed. He said that Sharad Pawar, NCP supremo, is still his leader and reiterated that NCP and BJP alliance in state will provide a stable government in Maharashtra.

Thanking everyone for the support, Pawar said that a little bit of patience is needed and that there is no need to worry.

He has even updated his Twitter bio to add ‘Deputy Chief Minister, Maharashtra’ to his profile.

Ajit Pawar updated Twitter bio

Earlier he had thanked PM Modi and other BJP leaders for congratulating him on swearing in as the deputy chief minister of Maharashtra.

In a dramatic move on Saturday, the BJP staked claim to form the government with support of NCP’s Ajit Pawar and some other independent MLAs, thereby ending the President’s Rule. Fadnavis and Pawar took oath as chief minister and deputy chief minister of Maharashtra respectively early morning on Saturday. This happened within hours of Shiv Sena’s Uddhav Thackeray being announced the CM candidate for Shiv Sena-NCP-Congress alliance in Maharashtra.

Following the dramatic turn of events, the Shiv Sena-NCP and Congress moved the Supreme Court questioning the legitimacy of forming the government. The SC today asked the Centre and State to give relevant documents about forming the government.
