Mazar in Daman’s Shiv Mandir? Structure removed after the video went viral: Mayor writes to collector seeking action

For the past few days, a video of a Shiva temple in the Union Territory of Daman, adjoining Gujarat, has been going viral on various social media platforms. In this viral video, it is claimed that a structure similar to Mazar has been made in an ancient Shiva temple in Nani Daman.

In the video, the Islamic mazar or dargah-like structure built inside this temple is visible. However, soon after this video went viral, another video has also surfaced in which the structure is seen removed.

According to preliminary information, this video is said to be from Nani Daman. It is not yet clear who made this video as it is being shared by different users. In this video of 2 minutes 20 seconds, a man says in Hindi, “Look, here is Shivling of Lord Mahadevj. This is Nandiji Maharaj. There are idols of Nandiji and Ganesha carved out of the same stone.”

The person shooting the video also shows the idol of the Goddess installed in the temple. The idol is also presumed to be very old. After showing the idols of all the gods and goddesses, next to it, green chadars with the sun and the moon printed on them are seen covering a structure resembling a Mazar built inside the temple.

Two days after the video went viral on social media, another video went viral, in which the structure is not seen. Seemingly, it was removed. In the video, the Mazar-like construction was not seen at the place inside the temple where it was seen in the earlier video.

On the other hand, after this video of the Mazar-like structure in the Shiva temple of Daman went viral, the Mayor of Daman also took its cognizance. He wrote a letter to the collector stating that an FIR should be filed against the person who built this structure inside the temple.

In this letter, he said, “We would like to bring to your kind Notice that in the Hindu Temple situated at Devka where along with Hindu Gods, some miscreants have constructed a Darga type and have put Muslim Chadar beside the idols of Hindu Gods inside the temple. One of the videos has been viral on social media throughout the country and that may cause immunity among the community. There it is requested to kindly take immediate action & file an FIR against the culprit and punish him as per law, who has carried out such activity. Your action in the said matter shall be highly solicited.”

OpIndia tried to contact the mayor to get more information about the letter, but could not speak to him for some reason. The report will be updated once a response is received. On the other hand, it is yet to be revealed how this structure was built in the temple, who did this and who removed it after the video went viral.

Indian Marine commandos onboard hijacked vessel MV Lila for ‘sanitisation’ operation: Navy

A team of Indian Navy’s elite Marine commandos have embarked on the hijacked Liberian ship MV Lila Norfolk in the North Arabian Sea for ‘sanitisation’ operations, the Indian Navy said on Friday.

“The Indian Navy Marine Commandos present onboard the Mission Deployed warship boarded the MV and have commenced the sanitisation,” the statement by the Indian Navy read.

In its statement, the Navy said INS Chennai intercepted the vessel on January 5 after being diverted from her anti-piracy patrol.

“MV was kept under continuous surveillance using Maritime Patrol Aircraft, Predator MQ9B and integral helos,” it added.

The Indian Navy’s Mission Deployed Platforms responded swiftly to the hijacking attempt on board a Liberian-flagged bulk carrier after it received a message on the UKMTO portal indicating boarding by approximately five to six unknown armed personnel on Thursday evening, the Indian Navy said in an official statement on Friday.

The hijacked ship has 15 Indians on board and communication has been established with the crew.

In response to the situation, the Indian Navy launched a Maritime Patrol Aircraft (MPA) and diverted INS Chennai, deployed for maritime security operations, to assist the vessel.

Read the tale of Karsevak Ram Achal Gupta, who was shot dead by police while singing Ramdhun in 1990 after he was stopped from going to Ram Janmabhoomi

On 22nd January 2024, the consecration ceremony for the idol of Lord Ram is scheduled to take place at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. The entire nation is brimming with enthusiasm, gearing up for grand Diwali-like celebrations. Communities worldwide within the Hindu faith are also commemorating the sacrifices made by devoted karsevaks who laid down their lives for the cause of the Ram temple. Among these revered individuals is Ram Achal Gupta, whose selfless sacrifice is remembered and honoured.

Ram Achal Gupta, hailing from the Rudauli police station area in the Ayodhya district, died near Ramjanmabhoomi on 2nd November 1990, having been fatally shot. This tragic incident unfolded when under the directives of Mulayam Singh Yadav – the then Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and the father of Samajwadi Party’s Akhilesh Yadav – the police resorted to firing upon the karsevaks. OpIndia conducted a visit to the residence of Ram Achal Gupta to gather insights into the current circumstances.

The Gupta family runs a grocery store to earn their livelihood

The family of Ram Achal Gupta lives in Shujaganj Bazar, situated near the Lucknow-Ayodhya road. To sustain their livelihood, they operate a grocery store known as Sanjay Grocery Store. Ram Achal, who sacrificed his life at the tender age of 26, left behind two sons and one daughter. Presently, all of them are married.

Rajkumari Gupta, the wife of Ram Achal Gupta, is presently 55 years old. Following the unfortunate demise of her husband, Rajkumari took on the responsibility of raising their children. A significant portion of the children’s education was undertaken in their maternal home. According to Sanjay Gupta, the son of Ram Achal Gupta, his formative years were marked by profound economic challenges and deprivation.

Ram Achal Gupta was an RSS member since childhood

Sanjay Gupta, son of Ram Achal Gupta, told OpIndia that his father was associated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) since childhood. People used to come from far away to the Sangh shakha. Family members recount that during the period of the Rath Yatra initiated by senior BJP leader LK Advani, Ram Achal played a notably active role.

During that period, Ram Achal Gupta operated a paan shop in Rudauli Bazar, situated approximately 5 km from his residence. Ram Achal tied the knot with Rajkumari Gupta, a resident of the Khandsa area of Ayodhya, at a young age. According to his son Sanjay, Ram Achal never put his family above Dharma.

Police gathered the Karsevaks in the name of Darshan and then shot them dead

Ram Achal’s brother, Ramtej, recounted that on 28th October 1990, he accompanied his brother to participate in Karseva. This assembly of karsevaks included numerous individuals from neighbouring villages. Their initial efforts involved providing meals to the visiting Ram devotees and arranging accommodations for their rest. Subsequently, Ram Achal, along with his companions, departed to Ayodhya by traversing through fields to evade the policemen stationed on the main road.

Despite the tragic incident on 30th October 1990, where numerous karsevaks fell victim to the police gunfire in Ayodhya, Ram Achal Gupta remained undeterred and chose not to return home. Ramtej Gupta – Ram Achal’s brother – shared that on 2nd November 1990, he and his brother congregated at the Maniram Das cantonment in Ayodhya. This location had already become a gathering point for thousands of karsevaks from across the country.

Ramtej Gupta shared that officers and representatives from the administration arrived at their location and reached an understanding that all the karsevaks would be allowed to visit the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi and then be sent home. Following this agreement, groups of karsevaks began to depart from various points, heading towards the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi amidst heavy security. However, the police subsequently intercepted and halted these groups at different locations en route to Shri Ram Janmabhoomi.

Reflecting on the events, Ramtej recounted that the group he was part of, alongside his brother Ram Achal, was halted near the Bada Post Office, a location merely half a kilometre from Hanuman Garhi. Frustrated by the interruption, the karsevaks began to peacefully express their dissent by sitting on the road and singing Ram bhajans. During this peaceful protest, two police contingents arrived at the scene. One was equipped with batons, while the other carried firearms.

Ramtej described a sudden turn of events, recounting how the police, without any prior warning, launched an assault on the karsevaks who were engaged in singing bhajans. The situation quickly escalated from a lathi charge to gunfire, resulting in a chaotic stampede. Amidst this turmoil, Ramtej found himself separated from his brother, Ram Achal. There was chaos everywhere and the police came down on brutality.

Ramtej Gupta shared his eyewitness account, revealing the chaotic scene during the stampede. He observed karsevaks from various parts of the country frantically running amidst the turmoil, shouldering the lifeless bodies of their fellow devotees. The atmosphere was further intensified as tear gas shells were deployed, enveloping the area in thick smoke. During this chaos, bullets were fired intermittently, causing karsevaks to fall to the ground.

The dead body of Ram Achal Gupta was kept with those of the Kothari brothers

In a conversation with OpIndia, Ramtej Gupta expressed his lingering anger when recalling the tumultuous events of the past. Despite his emotional breakdown, he shared the heart-wrenching experience of searching for his brother after the stampede had subsided, only to find him unaccounted for. Eventually, an announcement from Maniramdas Cantonment confirmed the devastating news that his brother, Ram, had made the ultimate sacrifice.

Continuing his account, Ramtej Gupta revealed that during his search for his brother’s body, he arrived at Maniramdas Cantonment where he discovered the dead body of Ram Achal Gupta. Alongside his brother, the bodies of approximately six other karsevaks, including the Kothari brothers, were also present. Tragically, Ram Achal Gupta had succumbed to a gunshot wound to the chest.

SDM wept on seeing the dead body and touched feet

OpIndia interviewed some acquaintances of Ram Achal Gupta from the Shujaganj market who went to retrieve his body. They mentioned that the administration had heightened its measures following Mulayam Singh Yadav’s declaration that ‘not even a bird should flutter in Ayodhya’. However, the Deputy District Magistrate (SDM) named Vishal Rai posted in Rudauli helped these people a lot. He had made passes for the movement of people who went to collect the body.

Those who brought the body of Ram Achal told us that when the body of Balidani came to Shujaganj, the SDM himself was present at the cremation. People said that during this time SDM Vishal Rai had wept bitterly and touched Ram Achal’s feet before cremation. Vishal Rai was earlier in the Army and came to the administrative service after retirement. At present, Vishal Rai has retired.

Samadhi built at the place of cremation

The family of Ram Achal Gupta has built a big temple at a mythological place in front of the house. His family has fought a long battle to save this temple from land mafia. Ram Achal was cremated in a part of this temple premises. Apart from all the police and administration officials, members of Hindu organisations and many saints were also present. A samadhi and memorial have been built at the place where Ram Achal Gupta was cremated. According to family members, this memorial inspires nearby Hindus to fight for Dharma.

Bomb threats to the Samadhi

Ram Achal’s family members told us that they had received threats from a terrorist organisation called SIMI (Students Islamic Movement of India) about 10 years ago. The threat was made by throwing pamphlets in the temple near the Samadhi. The leaflet read ‘We will bomb this place’. According to Sanjay Gupta, he had then complained to the police and local Hindus expressed their displeasure over this threat. However, the police could not arrest anyone in this case.

Sacrifice of Ram Achal Gupta should be respected and unfulfilled promises be fulfilled

Sanjay Gupta, son of the late Ram Achal, told us that when his father was martyred, his mother was offered an MLA ticket by the BJP. However, it was then rejected by the kin of the deceased as the family was in grief. Sanjay also said that the leaders present during his father’s cremation had announced to change of the name of the locality from Shujaganj to Ram Achal Nagar.

Sanjay Gupta further told us that this announcement has not been implemented yet. Shujaganj is named after Shuja-ud-Daula, the former Nawab of Awadh. It is said that Shuja-ud-Daula used to come from Lucknow to Faizabad (present-day Ayodhya) via this place. Later it was named Shujaganj.

The family of Ram Achal Gupta also wishes that a memorial be built in Ayodhya for those who sacrificed their lives in Karseva. Sanjay Gupta said that he is very happy with the construction of the Ram temple and that his father’s contribution to this work is a matter of pride for him. The family still visits Ayodhya regularly.

Congress crowdfunding campaign collects just Rs 11 crores in two weeks, party leadership upset over low collections: Report

Congress party’s ‘Donate for Desh’ crowdfunding campaign is turning out to be a flop show as the party has managed to raise just Rs 11 crores in two weeks. Reports say that the party leadership is unhappy with the meagre collection so far and has instructed the party workers to ramp up efforts to raise more funds.

Reportedly, the top Congress leadership, including party chief Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi, as well as Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, told the leaders that raising Rs 11 crore in two weeks was not encouraging and asked them to increase their efforts to raise more funds from party leaders, workers, and the general public.

During the three-hour meeting of general secretaries, in-charges, state unit chiefs, and Congress Legislature Party leaders from all states, the leaders were also asked to focus their full force on around 255 ‘winnable’ seats.

The party expects to release its first list of candidates for the Lok Sabha elections ‘soon and has directed the state units to begin the process. As part of this exercise, the party will also form screening committees in each state this week.

Ajay Maken, AICC treasurer, was reportedly instructed to step up efforts and visit states to boost the campaign and hold meetings with state units in order to drum up more funds for the party.

The party’s leadership is said to have decided to raise funds separately for the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, which begins on January 14. In December, the party launched the ”Donate for Desh” crowdfunding campaign to raise funds for the Lok Sabha elections.

Kharge told the meeting that the gains made by the Bharat Jodo Yatra should be solidified further by renaming the second yatra from Manipur to Mumbai the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra.

On January 2nd, Congress leader Ajay Maken took to X to inform about collecting Rs 10 crore in the online ‘Donate for Desh’ campaign. The Congress leader, however, is boasting the meagre amount as if a whopping Rs 20 or 50 crore has been raised by the party.

“New Year, New Milestones – We just crossed Rs 10 crores in 2 Weeks. As 2024 unfolds, we at the Indian National Congress (@INCIndia) are thrilled to share two significant achievements: Celebrating 138 Years of Service: Our journey in serving our great nation has now spanned 138 remarkable years. Phenomenal Success in Online Donations: Our online donation campaign marks the culmination of 2nd week with a groundbreaking milestone. We’ve raised a whopping ₹100 Million (Rs 10 crore)! A Heartfelt Thank You: To the lakhs of supporters who have joined us in this journey – your generosity is overwhelming. With 2,48,929 (2.49 lakhs) valid transaction requests in just two weeks, your support is the backbone of this success,” Maken posted.

Notably, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, on 18th December, had launched the campaign from New Delhi where he donated Rs 1.38 lakh. On 28th December 2023, the party marked its 138th anniversary. In alignment with that, it had issued an appeal to its supporters to contribute in multiples of ₹138, while urging its district and state-level workers to donate ₹1380.

Earlier, it was reported the party had collected Rs 5.35 crores a week after the campaign was kicked off by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge. Such a miniscule amount collected by the grand old party so far reflects the nation’s mood. The paltry collections show that the party has failed to connect with the people and gain their support.

Another interesting reason for the failure of the party’s IT cell in locking top-level domains (TLDs) for its donation campaign! The Congress party overlooked a crucial detail in the digital age. They failed to secure the online presence of the campaign! The Congress Party forgot to register the top-level domains (TLDs) for its campaign! Consequently, donatefordesh.com and donatefordesh.org now redirect users to the support page of OpIndia and the donate page of BJP respectively.

A++ designated Hizbul terrorist Javed Ahmed Mattoo nabbed in Delhi, was wanted in connection with 11 terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir

0

On Thursday, January 4, the special cell of Delhi Police arrested Javed Ahmed Mattoo, a wanted terrorist associated with Hizbul Mujahideen in Jammu and Kashmir. In a joint operation conducted with central agencies, the Delhi police team nabbed the dreaded terrorist from the national capital and recovered a pistol, six live cartridges and a stolen car from him.

Javed Mattoo is a resident of Sopore and has been to Pakistan many times. Mattoo was involved in five grenade attacks in Jammu and Kashmir. He was also involved in the killing of five police personnel in different incidents. Mattoo has been active in Jammu and Kashmir since 2010.

Besides indulging in terror activities, Mattoo also managed finances and logistics, including the procurement of weapons from ISI handlers across the border.

In 2019, Mattoo was featured in the list of 10 most wanted terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir. The list also included other top terrorists including Hizbul Mujahideen commander Riyaz Ahmed Naikoo, Lashkar-e-Taiba’s (LeT) Shopian district commander Wasim Ahmed alias Osama, Hizbul’s Anantnag district commander Mohd Ashraf Khan and the Baramulla district commander Mehraj-Ud-Din and others.

He was carrying a reward of Rs 10 lakh on his head.

Speaking about the arrest, Special Commissioner of Police (Special Cell), H.G.S. Dhaliwal, said, “Sometime back, a tip-off was received saying that Mattoo would be arriving in the National Capital Region (NCR) to collect arms and ammunition. The Special Cell then activated its sleeper cells.”

On Thursday, specific information was received that Mattoo is in Delhi to acquire weapons at the behest of the Pakistan ISI, with plans to execute terror strikes in Jammu and Kashmir and another location.

“Acting on this precise input, a raiding team successfully apprehended Mattoo from the Nizamuddin area, and seized a 9 mm pistol, six live cartridges, an extra magazine, and a stolen Santro car from his possession. A case has been registered at the Special Cell police station,” the officer said.

“He is the lone surviving A++ category terrorist based out of Jammu and Kashmir. He had earlier gone into hiding after escaping to Nepal on the directions of the ISI. The J&K police were actively pursuing him,” the officer said.

The Special CP also revealed that Mattoo had received a bullet injury on his leg by security forces during an encounter 10 years ago. “This had impacted his ability to directly engage in attacks against security forces, as he used to before the incident,” he added.

Ranji Trophy match in Patna exposes the pathetic state of Moin-Ul-Haq stadium, the venue is now in ruins with dangerously dilapidated galleries closed to spectators

Bihar capital Patna is hosting a Ranji Trophy Elite Group match after a gap of 27 years, where Mumbai is playing against the home team from today, 5 January 2024. However, cricket fans in Bihar are having to enjoy the game by putting their lives in danger, because the venue of the match, Moin-Ul-Haq Stadium, has actually turned into ruins.

Shocking photos and videos of the stadium located in Rajendra Nagar have gone viral on social media, which show that the galleries are in a completely pathetic condition. There are wild plants all over the galleries, and the only thing the administration has done is put up signages asking spectators not to sit in the galleries.

A video of the stadium taken yesterday posted on Instagram, showed wild plants growing everywhere on the galleries, and clothes being dried on railings. Moin-Ul-Haq Stadium is the home ground of the Bihar Ranji team.

The video shows that the galleries have not been cleaned a day before the match. Even though a major domestic team like Mumbai was playing at the stadium, it seems no efforts were made to improve the condition of the stadium in the middle of Patna. Several international players are playing in the match.

Moin-Ul-Haq Stadium in Patna once hosted international matches, once upon a time it was so good that it was one of the few venues chosen to host World Cup matches in 1996, but now it does not even look like fit for gully cricket. Now it is in such a dilapidated condition that watching the sport from galleries has become a dangerous adventure for spectators.

Signages saying ‘entry to gallery is prohibited, there is danger’ were put up all around the stadium, and several gates were kept locked, to prevent people from entering the danger zones. If anyone enters the galleries, they will be risking their own lives. Moreover, by putting up the warnings, the administration has ensured that they will not be responsible for any mishap.

ESPN presenter Syed Hussain also showed the stadium, saying that it is in ruins. He said that despite the conditions, people arrived in large numbers to witness the contest. He also showed the no entry notices put up in the stadium.

‘Apart from the ruins of the galleries, other arrangements for the important match were not satisfactory. People who arrived to watch the match could not follow the scores, as only a small scoreboard has been installed in the entire stadium. The spectators vented their anger towards the Bihar government for the condition of the stadium.

Going by the visuals, it seemed that the only structure that is not in a dilapidated condition is the pavilion.

A look at the stadium’s satellite photos on Google Earth shows that it has been gradually deteriorating over the years. Its galleries were mostly fine in the image from 2010, but in the 2023 satellite image, most of the galleries and parts of the ground are covered by vegetation.

Google Earth images

In the match that started today, Bihar captain Ashutosh Aman opted to bowl after winning the toss. The host team did a good job and restricted Mumbai to 235 runs in 67 overs by taking 9 wickets. The Mumbai team’s captain is former Team India player Ajinkya Rahane.

Bihar is playing in the Elite group of Ranji Trophy after the split of Jharkhand from the state. 12 years and 284 days old Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who played for the Bihar team, has become the fourth-youngest Indian to make his debut in a recorded first-class match.

Moin-Ul-Haq Stadium is owned by the Bihar government, and in response to a PIL asking for better maintenance of stadiums in the state, the govt told the Patna High Court in July 2023 that it is unable to spend money to improve it. The state govt had further said that the stadium was being leased to Bihar Cricket Association (BCA). Moin-Ul-Haq Stadium is a multi-purpose ground, used for cricket and football.

The stadium was previously known as Rajendra Nagar Stadium. It was renamed in 1970 after the death of Moin-ul-Haq, who was general secretary of the Indian Olympic Association (IOA).

After the 1996 world cup match between Kenya and Zimbabwe, BCCI didn’t allot any international match to the stadium. Bihar govt and the state cricket association also neglected it, and therefore the once state-of-the-art stadium deteriorated sharply.

United States: Here are 4 mass shootings where trans and ‘non-binary’ assailants gunned down innocent people

On Thursday (4th January), a 17-year-old ‘gender-fluid’ boy named Dylan Butler opened fire at the Perry High School in Iowa State of the United States.

As per reports, a total of 6 people were injured including the school principal Dan Marbuger. One 6th-grade student studying at the same school was killed during the mass shooting.

Prior to the incident, Butler posted a video from the school bathroom with the caption ‘Now, we wait.’ The video was uploaded on his TikTok account ‘@tooktoomuch.’

Armed with a handgun and a pump-action shotgun, the mass shooter reached Perry High School early Thursday (4th January) morning. He also had an explosive device, which did not detonate at the time of the attack.

Dylan Butler killed himself after going on a shooting spree. The incident triggered the evacuation of 1785 students from the school.

While speaking about the incident, a 13-year-old student named Carlos said, “I heard a couple of bangs, they weren’t loud. We saw loads of people run out. We thought it was a prank or something. We didn’t think it was real at first.”

Another student Ava Augustus recounted, “‘I run and you can just see glass everywhere, blood on the floor. I get to my car and they’re taking a girl out of the auditorium who had been shot in her leg.”

It has now come to light that the mass shooter carried out a ‘mock trial’ of the school shooting in December last year. He had uploaded the disturbing video on his TikTok account as well.

Dylan Butler identified as ‘non-binary’ on his Instagram and TikTok accounts. He used the pronouns ‘he/they’ and the profile bio reflected a ‘pride flag’ (representative of the LGBTQ+ community).

The mass shooter had also shared a post on TikTok, which read, “Love you trans kids.” Interestingly, this is not the first time that a mass shooting was conducted by a transgender/ non-binary individual.

School shooting in Nashville by trans-man

On 27th March 2023, a 28-year-old woman named Audrey Elizabeth Hale went on a shooting spree at a private Christian school in Nashville city in the Tennessee state of the US.

Hale, who identified as a trans-man, killed three children (all of them were just 9 years old) and three adults during the deadly attack. The mass shooter was a former student of the same school.

Prior to the shooting, Hale reportedly sent a message to a school friend – “One day this will make more sense. I’ve left more than enough evidence behind. But something bad is about to happen.”

In videos that surfaced on social media, she was seen armed with two rifles and a pistol. Hale shot at glass doors and made her way into the building of ‘The Covenant’ school.

The mass shooter fired over 150 rounds and killed three 9-year-old children, namely, Evelyn Dieckhaus, Hallie Scruggs and William Kinney. The Head of School, Katherine Koonce, custodian Mike Hill and a substitute teacher named Cynthia Peak were also shot dead by the ‘trans-man’.

The nightmare ended after the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department swung into action and took down Audrey Elizabeth Hale. In her manifesto, she chronicled all events of the fateful day.

“I’m a little nervous, but excited too. Been excited for the past 2 weeks…Can’t believe I’m doing this, but I’m ready… I hope my victims aren’t,” her manifesto read.

Audrey Elizabeth Hale zealously wrote about killing ‘privileged’ white children. “Wanna kill all you little crackersBunch of little fucking w/ your white privilages fuck you fuckers,” she had written.

STEM school shooting in Colorado

On 7th May 2019, a 16-year-old girl named Maya ‘Alec’ McKinney shot 9 students at the STEM School in Highlands Ranch in Colorado state of the United States.

McKinney, who was a girl at birth but ‘identified’ as a boy, carried out the deadly attack along with an 18-year-old man named Devon Erickson. They were equipped with three handguns and a 22-caliber rifle.

The mass shooting led to the death of a student named Kendrick Castillo, who was 18 years old at the time. 8 other students were seriously injured. One student identified as Lucas Albertoni had a bullet stuck to his body, the removal of which was deemed too risky by the doctors.

Maya ‘Alec’ McKinney (left), Devon Erickson (right), images via NBC/AP

As such, he needs to be regularly checked for lead poisoning. Another victim had to permanently leave playing soccer in the aftermath of the shooting.

After being apprehended, McKinney told investigators that she planned the mass shooting for several weeks. She wanted to harm the students who supposedly mocked her for being a transgender.

“He (sic) wanted everyone in that school to suffer and realize that the world is a bad place…He (sic) wanted the kids at the school to experience bad things, have to suffer from trauma like he has had to in his life,” read an affidavit summing the actions of Maya ‘Alec’ McKinney.

In July 2020, Maya ‘Alec’ McKinney was found guilty of first-degree murder and 16 other charges. She was sentenced to life in prison (with the possibility of parole after two decades behind bars) and an additional 38 years.

On the other hand, Devon Erickson was found convicted of 46 charges and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole in September 2021. McKinney was hailed as a ‘victim’ on social media by members of the transgender community on social media.

Fatal Shooting in Aberdeen by woman transitioning to a man

On 28th September 2018, a 26-year-old ‘woman’ named Snochia Moseley shot 6 of her co-workers at a Rite Aid warehouse in Aberdeen city in the Maryland state of the US.

She fired more than a dozen shots using her Glock handgun and killed 3 people in the process. The victims were identified as Sunday Aguda (45), Brindra Giri (41) and Hayleen Reyes (41).

The other three people who were shot, namely, Hassan Mitchell, Wilfredo Villegas and Purna Acharya, fortunately made it alive. In a bid to evade arrest, Moseley then took her own life.

While speaking about the incident, Sheriff Jeffrey Gahler said, “She (Snochia Moseley) chose to begin the shooting at break time. She was moving pretty quickly, not taking a lot of time to aim. A total of 13 rounds that we know of were fired…You don’t have to be highly accurate when you’re in close quarters.”

According to Snochia Moseley’s close friend Troi Coley, the mass shooter initially came out as a ‘gay teenage girl’ before identifying as a ‘transgender.’

“This is a girl who was depressed most of her life because she couldn’t accept herself to be who she was after she came out as gay, and she thought nobody else could accept her either,” informed Troi Coley.

Snochia Moseley reportedly began receiving hormone therapy in 2017 as part of her plan to completely transition from a woman to a man.

Conclusion

There have been attempts by the left-wing media ecosystem to tie mass shootings to one ‘race’ and one ‘gender’ in the context of the United States. The shootings that do not fit the agenda find little to no space.

While manifestos of assailants are released immediately after mass shootings, the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department (MNPD) sat over the manifesto of woman-turned-transgender Audrey Elizabeth Hale.

There were concerted attempts by news publications to brush such cases as ‘one-off’ and ‘rare’ incidents. If the unadulterated hate disseminated by the woke ecosystem remains unchecked, then, we should anticipate more such attacks over ‘make-believe privilege.’

‘Who is this woman?’ Orry responds as Suchitra Krishnamoorthi warns against ‘Orry culture’ of popularity taking precedence over talent

Instagram sensation Orry recently took to social media to respond to actor Suchitra Krishnamoorthi after she called ‘Orry culture’ dangerous. Krishnamoorthy’s comment was related to the growing Bollywood trend where popularity precedes talent, insinuating that fame gets recognition while talented folks struggle to get decent work.

Responding to Krishnamoorthi’s comment, Orry said, “Who is this woman!?!?” However, he added that such comments “haunt him and keep him awake all night.”

Recently, the actor took to X and shared insights into her conversations with friends, highlighting the current trend among youngsters on seeking attention, terming it as “Orry culture”.

In an unexpected rebuttal, Orry expressed surprise about Suchitra and the concept of “Orry culture.” He questioned, “Who is this woman? What even is Orry culture? What is going on? Why does she keep talking about me? I am so confused right now. I have never met her. And why is something said by someone who isn’t even my friend making headlines? These are the questions that perplex me and keep me awake at night!”

In her post, Krishnamoorthi drew attention to the significance of one’s originality and excellence in one’s work and denounced the practice of using labels that often only represent a price tag or status symbol. She illustrated an example of a former personal trainer who, under the influence of ‘Orry Culture”, took loans to buy expensive designer bags and match the lifestyle of celebrity clients.

In quoting the trainer, Suchitra brought attention to the risky aspects of the #Orry culture, expressing, “I don’t want him to be part of this #Orry culture – it’s hazardous. He needs to forge his path and understand that merely posting photos with celebrities doesn’t make him one.”

‘Will kill you and your family in 72 hours’: UP BJP leader Rubi Asif Khan receives threat letter for organising Ram puja in her house

On Thursday, January 4, Rubi Asif Khan, a Muslim woman in Aligarh of Uttar Pradesh received death threats because she organised a puja in her house ahead of the consecration ceremony of the Bhavya Ram Mandir in Ayodhya scheduled to take place on January 22, 2023.

The threat letter, which an unknown miscreant threw in her house on Thursday night threatened her and her family with death for conducting Ram Puja in her house. “You have become a devotee of Lord Ram. You and your family will be killed in the next 72 hours,” read the threat letter.

The incident took place in the Mamudnagar Shahjamal area which comes under the Rorwar police station. BJP Jay Ganj unit’s vice-president Rubi Asif Khan, has approached the police and sought a probe in the matter.

Notably, Khan had written to Yogi Adityanath on December 27 expressing her concern about a threat to her life as she was planning to organise a puja of Lord Ram in her house ahead of the Ayodhya Ram Mandir inauguration ceremony. She stated that she intended to arrange a puja in her home, starting on January 1 and lasting until January 22, which is the day the Bhavya Ram Mandir in Ayodhya will be inaugurated. She asserted that she was afraid she may be hurt this time too because of all the threats she had received in the past.

Recalling how posters threatening to burn her alive along with her family were found pasted outside her house last year and how in 2022 she had been issued a fatwa for worshipping Lord Ganesh during Ganesh Chaturthi, the BJP leader sought protection.

Meanwhile, in the CCTV footage obtained by the police, an unknown miscreant could be seen throwing the threat letter into her house on Thursday night. CO First Abhay Pandey confirmed that a case has been registered based on the complaint and efforts are being made to identify and nab the accused based on the CCTV footage received by the police.

Karnataka MLA Iqbal Hussain says Ram is his ‘family God’, claims Congress never uses religion to divide people: Here is how the party has been habitually anti-Hindu

Amid the uproar over the arrest of a Hindu activist in Karnataka’s Hubballi, Congress MLA HA Iqbal Hussain said on Thursday (4th January) that Lord Ram is his “family God” and that he is a devotee. The Ramanagara legislator also stated that he would celebrate “Ramotsava” in a “secular way.”

“I have decided to celebrate ‘Ramotsava’ with devotion with all the political parties in a grand but secular way,” Hussain said.

He further claimed to be a devotee of Hindu Gods including Saraswati, Ganesh, Lakshmi and Ram.

“I’ve already said I’m a Rama devotee. I worship all Gods and welcome them. There is no second thought about that. I have been worshipping Saraswati, Lakshmi, Ganesha and Rama since my childhood,” Hussain said.

These remarks come amid state-wide protests by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) over the arrest of Karsevak Srikanth Poojari for his alleged involvement in the 1992 post-Babri Masjid demolition riots.

On the construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, he said, “Some people do something for their political gain but the Congress never uses God and religion to divide people. The Congress has an ideology, commitment and discipline, which I follow.”

In response to a question about the consecration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya during an election year, he said, “It is left to them (BJP). We worship all the Gods including Rama. For them, it could be new but not for us. For us, Rama is our family God and we have a Pooja room. They are using Rama for politics. We are not.”

Notably, the Congress-led state government has reopened another case against Hindu activists in Karnataka. A case against Dattapeetha activist has been reopened a day after Karsewak Srikant Poojari’s arrest.

Interestingly, the Congress leader’s claim that Congress never uses God and religion to divide people is far from the historical record of the grand old party. Congress has for years followed the fissiparous policy of neglecting and even harming Hindu interests and indulging in the minority, specifically, Muslim appeasement. A recent example of the same was seen in the Telangana elections when Congress listed out a list of doles to be given exclusively to religious minorities (Muslims, Christians, Sikhs etc) in the State. It essentially implied that the benefits would not apply to the Hindu community.

Moreover, it was reported this week that Congress leader H Anjaneya in a blatant disrespect of Lord Ram equated CM Siddaramiah to the Hindu God. “He (Siddaramaiah) is our Ram. Why should he visit Ayodhya for the consecration event? He could pay obeisance at his native village which has a Ram temple,” Anjaneya said asserting that the Ram Lalla idol set to be consecrated in Ayodhya on 22nd January is “BJP’s Ram”.

With change in winds since 2014, Congress has been compelled to mend its ways and at least pretend not to be anti-Hindu its leaders undertake temple runs ahead of elections every time, however, a look back in history exposes the truth of Congress’s ostentatious ‘love’ for Lord Ram.

It is interesting to recall that the Congress-led UPA 1 Central Government stated back in September 2007 that there is no historical proof of Lord Ram’s existence. An affidavit filed by the Congress-led government read, “Valmiki Ramayana and Ramcharitmanas admittedly form an important part of ancient Indian literature, but these cannot be said to be historical records to incontrovertibly prove the existence of the characters and occurrences of events depicted therein.” The affidavit was filed to register the UPA government’s opposition to the demand to scrap the Sethusamudram project as it would damage the Ram Setu. In 2018, Congress leader Shashi Tharoor had asserted that “no good Hindu would want a Ram Mandir at the Babri site.”

Although Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has now taken the ‘avatar’ of a “Tapasvi,” the Gandhi scion once claimed that those who visit the temple worship the goddess… They are the ones who molest women in buses.” The Gandhi prince had also been mollycoddling with ardent Hindu haters, as evidenced by his meeting with anti-Hindu Christian pastor George Poonaiah in September 2022, who is notorious for demeaning Hindu deities and Bharat Mata and making derogatory comments about Hindu goddess Shakti and the Janeudhari, Dattatreya gotri brahmin Rahul Gandhi made no objections or attempted to stop the Hindumisic pastor.

In 2020, Congress leader Kumar Ketkar during a programme on Zee News ahead of the Bhoomi Poojan at the Ram Temple site in August denied the historical existence of Shri Ram and cast aspersions about the Hindu God being a creation of literature.

When he was asked by the anchor whether he or the Congress party now believes in the existence of Lord Rama or not, Ketkar claimed, “Ram exists because of Ramayan. However, a conclusion is yet to be reached on whether Ram is the creation of history or literature. Valmiki wrote a great epic and its impact was felt both in India and abroad. But, I don’t know if he existed in history.”

In 2019, Congress leader Mani Shankar Aiyar at an event organized by the Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) in New Delhi called ‘Ek Shaam Babri Masjid Ki Naam,’ questioned the birth of Lord Ram at Ayodhya, asking how someone could be so certain that Lord Ram was born at that historic site.

“What do you mean mandir wahin banayenge? King Dasharatha was a big king and it is believed he had as many as 10,000 rooms in his palace. Who knows which room was where? And hence they say that because we think that our Lord Ram was born here, and hence the temple should be built there, and because there is a masjid there, we will first demolish it and then build a temple at that place?” Aiyar said in 2019.

It is worth recalling that back in 2014, the Congress government in Karnataka introduced the Karnataka Hindu Religious Institutions and Charitable Endowments Amendment Bill. It was a draconian bill that allowed the government to simply take over any Hindu religious charity ‘suspected’ of malpractice or corruption at some point in time.

Conspicuously, the Bill was intended to undermine the power of Lingayat Mutts in Karnataka. Furthermore, only Hindu religious institutions were to be subject to this oppressive act, affirming Hindus’ status as second-class citizens in the state. However, the uproar forced the government to withdraw the controversial bill.

Back in 2010, Rahul Gandhi had told US Ambassador Timothy Roemer that radicalized Hindu groups are a greater threat than the support of some Indian Muslims to Islamist terrorist outfits like Lashkar-e-Taiba.

According to the whistleblowing website Wikileaks, Rahul Gandhi informed the then US ambassador to India Timothy Roemer that “there was evidence of some support for Islamist terror group Lashkar-e-Taiba among certain elements in India’s indigenous Muslim community; the bigger threat may be the growth of radicalized Hindu groups, which create religious tensions and political confrontations with the Muslim community.”

And who can forget former Prime Minister and Congress leader Manmohan Singh’s “minorities have first right on resources,” remarks back in 2006.

From celebrating tyrants like Tipu Sultan who slaughtered Hindus, indulging in minority appeasement to its anti-Hindu stands as seen in the Ram Mandir case, to questioning Lord Ram’s existence, and allying with parties like DMK whose leader openly calls for the eradication of Sanatan Dharma, Congress has long used religion as means to grab power.
