Sameer Wankhede will no longer probe Aryan Khan drug bust case, officer says he himself asked case to be investigated by central team

Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede, who has been leading the Mumbai drug bust case involving Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan, will no longer be investigating the case. Wankhede, however, has denied that he was removed from the investigation.

Speaking to ANI about the development Sameer Wankhede said: “I’ve not been removed from the investigation. It was my writ petition in court that the matter is probed by a central agency. So Aryan case and Sameer Khan case are being probed by Delhi NCB’s SIT. It’s a coordination b/w NCB teams of Delhi and Mumbai”.

According to news agency ANI, the NCB Director-General has decided to transfer six high-profile cases, including that of Aryan Khan, from the anti-drug agency’s Mumbai zonal branch to its central team. Wankhede currently heads the agency’s Mumbai zonal unit.

Mutha Ashok Jain, Deputy DG, South-Western Region, NCB was quoted by ANI as calling it an administrative decision. “Total 6 cases of our zone will now be investigated by Delhi teams (of NCB), including Aryan Khan’s case and 5 other cases. It was an administrative decision”, said Jain.

A team of Delhi NCB is arriving in Mumbai tomorrow after the decision that 6 cases of the Mumbai zone, including Aryan Khan’s case and 5 other cases, will now be investigated by them. The NCB also confirmed that no officer or officers have been removed from the investigation.

Sameer Wankhede himself filed a petition before Bombay HC asking to transfer Aryan Khan and Sameer Khan’s case to central team

According to reports, NCB was mulling to hand over the Aryan Khan case to the central team after Sameer Wankhede himself filed a petition before the Bombay High Court stating that the cases of Aryan khan and Sameer Khan (son-in-law of Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik) should be probed by the central team.

Wankhede is currently being investigated by a vigilance team of the NCB over allegations made against him by Maharashtra Minister Nawab Malik.

It may be noted that no sooner did Sameer Wankhede arrest Aryan Khan in the drug case that the focus shifted from the latter to the former, with Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik launching ad hominem attacks against the NCB officer. A concerted attempt is being made to tarnish his reputation and shift the attention from the culpability of those accused in the case to the Narcotics officer who led the raid. As a part of this campaign, Sameer Wankhede’s personal life is scrutinised threadbare—be it his dead mother or his personal relationships—the focus is shifted to inconsequential things so that his actions in the Mumbai drugs case can be undermined.

Nawab Malik spearheads campaign against Wankhede

Nationalist Congress Party’s Nawab Malik raised questions on his integrity, alleging that the raid on the cruise ship was fake. Malik then alleged that Wankhede had extorted money from Bollywood stars earlier during the pandemic, a claim that is vigorously contested by the embattled officer.

A day after, Sameer Wankhede once again found himself in the eye of a raging storm when independent witness Prabhakhar Sail alleged that Rs 25 crore was demanded on behalf of the officer to let off Aryan Khan in the Mumbai cruise drugs case. Nawab Malik was quick to launch a scathing attack against Wankhede, accusing him of committing forgery.

Raising questions on his religious identity, Nawab Malik claimed Sameer Wankhede is a Muslim but made a Hindu caste certificate by forgery to get into the Indian Revenue Service under the scheduled caste category.

Malik, besides continuously questioning Wankhade’s integrity and painting him as a corrupt officer, also said that his son-in-law Sameer Khan was framed in a ‘fake’ drugs case by the NCB, giving an impression that the motive behind leading a spirited campaign against Sameer Wankhede and NCB could perhaps be an attempt to weaken the case against Khan.

Meanwhile, on his part, Wankhede has vehemently rubbished the allegations levelled against him, terming Malik’s comment as “shoddy”.

“Fortunate are those who really truly know you”: As Virat Kohli continues to get trolled, Anushka Sharma writes a heartfelt note on his birthday

On Friday (November 5), actress Anushka Sharma penned a heartfelt note for her husband Virat Kohli on the occasion of his 33rd birthday. She has extended her support in the face of brutal trolling that the Indian skipper has been subjected to in the past few days, following back-to-back losses of the cricket team in the group stage match of T20 World Cup 2021.

Anushka Sharma wrote, “No filter needed, for this photo and the way you lead your life. Your core is made of honesty and guts of steel. Courage that pales doubt into oblivion. I know no one who can pick themselves up from a dark place like you can. You grow better in every way because you hold on to nothing in you as permanent and are fearless.”

While wishing Kohli on his birthday, she added, “I know we are not ones to talk to each other through social media like this but sometimes I just want to scream and tell the world what an amazing man you are. Fortunate are those who really truly know you. Thank you for making everything brighter and more beautiful.”

Virat Kohli had received a lot of criticism from fans recently for his comments on matters off the pitch. While the Indian cricket team has come under the scanner for its defeats against Pakistan and New Zealand, Virat Kohli was at the receiving end of criticism even before the tournament began. Kohli had said that he will share tips on how to celebrate a ‘meaningful Diwali’ and given his previous anti-cracker comments, he was slammed for it by people on social media.

‘Leading souls down the wrong path’: Archdiocese of New York abused on social media for wishing people a blessed Diwali, deletes tweet

On Thursday (November 4), the Archdiocese of New York came under attack from Christian fanatics on social media for greeting Hindus during the festival of Diwali.

In a tweet, it stated, “A blessed Diwali from the Archdiocese of New York. Wishing peace and love to all.” However, it soon came became the target of a vitriolic campaign.

Diwali is one of the most important festivals for Hindus and is celebrated worldwide. US President Joe Biden wished Hindus on the occasion as well. Boris Johnson, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, conveyed a beautiful message on the occasion of Diwali, which was much appreciated by Hindus in India as well.

However, the wish by the Archdiocese of New York did not go down well with Christian fanatics in the United States who attacked them for wishing everyone a blessed Diwali. In India, too, Islamists have targeted Muslim ‘journalists’ and entertainers for celebrating the festival.

Pakistani cricket team captain Babar Azam was also attacked for wishing a happy Deepavali.

Update

Since the report was published, the Archdiocese of New York has deleted the tweet. The Diwali wish is no longer visible on its Twitter account.

Haryana: BJP leaders held hostage in a temple in Rohtak by protesting ‘farmers’ for six hours

A group of ‘farmers’ held several BJP leaders hostage at a temple in Rohtak, Haryana, for several hours on Friday (November 5) evening. According to reports, the BJP leaders had gathered at the temple in Rohtak’s Kiloi village to watch Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s live telecast from the Kedarnath temple, when they found themselves surrounded by farmers.

These ‘farmers’ held the BJP leaders captive for almost 6 hours before a large police contingent was rushed to the area to control the situation. Reportedly, the farmers had surrounded the temple from all sides, making it difficult for the police to break the tight cordon formed by them.

Later, the BJP leaders were freed by the police and two protesters were arrested. The Delhi-Hisar National Highway has been shut to traffic to prevent the situation from worsening. “The leaders have been released after the matter was resolved amicably by holding talks with the villagers,” Rohtak Deputy Commissioner Capt Manoj Kumar told media.

The BJP leaders who were trapped inside the temple were former Haryana Minister Manish Grover, party organisation minister Ravindra Raju, Mayor Manmohan Goyal, BJP district chief Ajay Bansal and party leader Satish Nandal.

Rohtak Deputy Commissioner of Police, Sub Divisional Magistrate, and Superintendent of Police from Rohtak as well as surrounding districts are at the temple site to prevent further escalation.

The high-handedness and hooliganism of the so-called farmers, agitating against the three farm laws have been increasing with every passing day. In a separate incident, the windshield of BJP MP Ram Chander Jangra’s car was smashed after some miscreants allegedly threw lathis on the vehicle during a protest by farmers over his visit to the Hisar district in Haryana. Fortunately, no one was hurt in the incident, The minister, however, described the incident as “a clear murder attempt”.

Ever since the agitation against the farm laws have begun, these ‘protests’ had taken a violent turn on several occasions.

On May 16, it was reported how farmers at Hisar, Hayarana got violent and tried to disrupt a Covid-19 facility inauguration event attended by Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar. As per reports, a huge crowd gathered at the site all of a sudden charging at the security forces which resulted in a clash. The Samyukt Kisan Morcha protesting on the border had also backed the protest.

OpIndia has reported in detail the umpteen number of times, these protestors and rioters disguised as farmers, holding the nation to ransom in the name of protests against the central government’s agricultural laws, has turned hostile and resorted to unbridled violence causing damage to public life and property.

Islamist harassment of journalists and entertainers: What the abuse and targeted attacks tell us about online leftist culture

There’s a fairly recent trend that has emerged on social media. Over the past few years, it has extremely normal for entertainers, sportsmen and journalists to be viciously trolled and abused by Islamists for posts they do not approve. And weirdly enough, the online harassment campaign somehow fails to grab media attention and even worse, most of the times it is ignored by the victim themselves.

On Friday, for instance, columnist with ThePrint Zainab Sikander was abused and condemned by Islamists online after she attempted to target ‘Sanghis’ by suggesting that Muslims celebrate Diwali too. The tweet failed to attract any undue attention from ‘Sanghis’, however, it did incite an army of Islamist trolls to condemn her for celebrating Diwali and suggesting that Muslims celebrate the Hindu festival.

Of course, Zainab Sikander was not the first victim nor would she be the last. Journalist Rubika Liyaquat just a couple of days ago was attacked by Islamists because she bowed down and touched the floor to show her respect towards her place of work. It is, of course, fundamentally a Hindu practice and for that, she was targeted by Islamists.

These are not the only individuals who were abused by Islamists in the month of November. Actor Farhan Akhtar was abused for sharing a photograph of himself performing the Diwali puja, wishing everyone a Happy Diwali. Even the captain of the Pakistani cricket team, Babar Azam, was attacked for wishing people a Happy Diwali.

All these celebrities, all of the Muslims, were abused and trolled because they wished people on a Hindu festival. Islamists accused them of being ‘bad Muslims’ for the same. It is an extremely normalised phenomenon, as evidenced by the fact that 4 Muslim celebrities were abused within the first 5 days of November. But despite the prevalence of such radicalism, it is a phenomenon that hardly ever receives attention.

Silence over the abuse Muslim celebrities face has emboldened Islamists

An obvious reason for the culture of online harassment that Islamists practice is that it has not been condemned enough at all by influencers on social media. Such tacit silence over the same has only served to embolden the Islamists further.

Islamists realise that they will never have to face any consequences for the harassment they subject these celebrities too. And as such, they can continue abusing anyone they want with impunity. Of course, they also realise they will always have the support of mainstream celebrities and media. Therefore, there is no reason for them to subject themselves to even a modicum of decency.

And truth be told, global leftist culture has subordinated itself to Islamic extremism. The Left around the world has formed an unspoken alliance with the worst elements of Islamic societies in their bid to capture power. Of course, there is a gross power imbalance as the Left has been taken hostage by the most radical elements within their ‘alliance partners’.

In the real world, the alliance manifests itself in leftist support for violent protests, which we saw during the protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act. When people like Shashi Tharoor attempted to meekly point out the radicalism that was creeping in into the protests, they were immediately shut down by Islamists and even more so by leftists, who feared that the alliance might come under threat.

In the virtual world, the alliance results in stoic silence when Muslim entertainers and journalists are abused and harassed by Islamists online. And consequently, the lack of resistance only serves to embolden the abusers further.

The Silence of the Lambs

Weirdly enough, the victims themselves hardly ever raise a voice when they are attacked by Islamists. In numerous cases, the victims are often Islamist apologist themselves. The Wire ‘journalist’, Arfa Khanum Sherwani, for instance, was viciously attacked by Islamists for the mere act of uploading a photo on Durga Puja.

Of course, Arfa Khanum Sherwani, along expected lines, remained silent over the abuse she received. Take Mohammad Shami for instance, there was a huge controversy recently over abuses he received following the Indian vs Pakistan match. Of course, now there is evidence to suggest that the entire campaign was led by Pakistanis but even the Indian captain Virat Kohli blamed fans in India for it.

The same Kohli has remained silent when Mohammad Shami received abuses from Islamists for bizarre reasons. Once, he was abused for a birthday wish for his daughter. On another occasion, he was abused because he posted a photograph where his wife was wearing a sleeveless gown. But on no occasion did it motivate anyone enough to come to his defense.

To be fair to Shami, he has remained silent on all these instances and maintained a neutral stance. But the same cannot be said for others, such as Sherwani.

The culture of silence that has developed around the whole issue only points toward the fact that celebrities themselves are scared of voicing their opinions against such Islamist abuse, for fear of backlash from their own ranks.

Islamists realise there is no need for the ‘mask of modernity’

The phenomenon, which has gone on unchallenged for long enough, also demonstrates that Islamists have realised that there is no need for them to wear any ‘mask of modernity’. They have realised that they do not need to espouse virtues of tolerance and harmony online. There are no costs they have to pay for refusing to pay even lip service to such ideals.

They realise that they will always have the support of mainstream celebrities and ‘journalists’ regardless of how they behave with them and they can continue to force them to tow their line with torrent of abuses and harassment.

Islamists realise that they continue to be the ‘model victim’ even as they viciously attack anyone who disagree with them, or even do something as mundane as wishing people on Diwali. They realise that they continue attacking others while playing the victim themselves. And no one will ever call them out on it.

Chinese journalist jailed for covering Wuhan Coronavirus outbreak in critical condition after several hunger strikes

A Chinese citizen journalist imprisoned for covering the initial Covid-19 outbreak in Wuhan is in critical condition and in need of immediate medical care following her hunger strikes protesting against the imprisonment. According to reports, 38-year-old journalist and former lawyer Zhang Zhan’s health condition is critical and is close to death.

Zhang Zhan was detained in May 2020 and was sentenced to 4 years of imprisonment in December after the charge of “picking quarrels and provoking trouble” were levelled against her by the Chinese authorities. The charge of “picking quarrels and provoking trouble” is a common method used by the Chinese government to silence protesters and activists.

Zhang’s mother had informed after a video visit with her daughter in October that Zhan could not even hold her head up due to lack of strength and was severely underweight. Zhang’s mother also sought immediate medical care for her daughter.

A senior Chinese researcher Yaqiu Wang at Human Rights Watch noted, “The Chinese government needs to be held to account for allowing yet another peaceful critic to fall gravely ill while unjustly imprisoned,” and added, “Governments should call for Zhang Zhan’s urgent release to prevent an already terrible situation from becoming a tragic one.”

While a statement issued by the Chinese Foreign Ministry had denied allegations of suppressing journalists and said, “In China, no one gets punished or penalized simply because of making remarks,”. The statement further said, “The Chinese government has all along conducted its Covid-19 response in an open and transparent manner, and has made widely recognized achievements.”

According to Zhang Zhan’s legal team, Zhan had been force-fed through Nasal tubes and her brother Zhang Ju wrote “She may not survive the coming cold winter,”

Amnesty International has urged the Chinese authorities to release Zhang Zhang immediately so that she could receive urgent medical care and its campaigner Gwen Lee termed the detention of Zhang Zhang as a “shameful attack on human rights”.

Notably, Zhang Zhan is one of the four citizen journalists detained for covering the Wuhan Covid outbreak. The others in the list were Chen Qiushi, Fang Bin and Li Zehua.

Chinese citizen journalist Zhang Zhan was detained by the Chinese government in May 2020 for reporting on the Wuhan virus. She has later sentenced to four years imprisonment in December. Zhan was accused of “picking quarrels and provoking trouble”, a charge that is very often invoked against critics and activists in China. Reports suggest that she started observing hunger strikes in September last year and was force-fed through feeding tubes with her hands tied so that she could not tamper with the tubes.

Ready to rehabilitate evicted families of Dholpur if valid citizens, no compensation to encroachers: Assam govt informs Guwahati HC

Assam government headed by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has informed Guwahati High Court that it has earmarked 130 acres of land to rehabilitate the displaced families of Gorukhuti in Dholpur of Darrang district provided they are valid citizens.

The government said the same through the affidavit in response to the notice issued to the Assam government by the High court while hearing a PIL filed by Leader of the Opposition Debabrata Saikia as well as a suo motu PIL admitted by the court regarding violence during the eviction. The hearing took place on November 3 and the matter is being heard by the bench, headed by Chief Justice Sudhanshu Dhulia and Justice Kakheto Sema.

In the Dholpur eviction case the government said that other than valid citizenship, there were a set of other requirements that will be taken care of while relocating such persons and families to a new proposed habitat. These requirements include whether or not they are soil erosion-affected and landless.

“An area of about 1,000 bighas (about 134 hectares) of land in the southern part of No 1 & No 3 Dholpur village has been earmarked for relocating the evicted persons subject to verification of the status of erosion affected and landless status in their respective original places and districts, citizenship and existing rehabilitation policy of the state,” the affidavit by the government said.

With this, the BJP government has also categorically said the evicted families of Dhalpur village in Gorukuti will not be paid any compensation as they are encroachers.

Sipajhar Revenue Circle Officer Kamaljeet Sarma, who represented the Assam government, has stated that the occupants of the areas were encroachers and under the Assam Land and Revenue Regulation, 1886, they were liable to be evicted at any time. He told the court that the entire case was related to the eviction of encroached land and no acquisition of land was involved. Hence, the question of resettlement, rehabilitation and compensation, etc as per the Land Acquisition Act was irrelevant.

The government has further told the court that families evicted from encroached land in Dholpur are not erosion-affected migrants as claimed in the PIL hence they are not eligible for any benefit under Assam Rehabilitation Policy 2020. “The claim that the occupants of Dholpur Char and their ancestors were forced to migrate from their respective original place of residence due to devastating floods and land erosion does not exist in the revenue files,” the affidavit said.

However, the government has also said that as of now to clear remaining encroached land, no coercive measure is being taken and efforts are being made to convince encroachers to voluntarily vacate the demarcated area. The officer has explained to the court that under the rule if a family is displaced and forced to migrate to other places due to soil erosion caused by heavy floods, such displaced families are issued a certificate by the concerned revenue circle. He told the court there is no record of these encroachers and their forefathers.

Now the High court has granted a week’s time to the Assam government to file a detailed counter affidavit and fixed December 14 for the next hearing.

Darrang violence exposes conspiracy to demographic changes

In September this year, the Assam government conducted an anti-encroachment drive to clear land belonging to the government and temple at the Dholpur in the Garukhuti area near the Sipajhar town in Darrang district.  But the situation turned violent after encroachers attacked security forces. While 9 policemen were injured in the attack by the mob of illegal encroachers, 2 attackers were killed in retaliatory police firing. Dholpur is an area with 25000 acres of land along with a 5,000 years old Shiva temple and a cave. Over the years the locality witnessed a mass influx of illegal immigrants from Bangladesh. Around 30,000 acres of land was encroached upon by Bangladeshi Muslim immigrants.

Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma had warned that through such land grabs and settlements attempts were made to change the demographic structure of Assam that can alter election results in Vidhan Sabha constituencies. He stated that Bangladesh-origin Muslims have a clear strategy to take over 3-5 constituencies each election by increasing their population, eventually grabbing power in the state after a few decades.

Muslims can’t wish on Diwali, endorse polytheist beliefs: Pakistan skipper Babar Azam gets slammed by Islamists for wishing on Diwali

On Thursday (November 4), the captain of the Pakistan cricket team, Babar Azam, was abused by Islamists for wishing people on the occasion of Diwali.

In a tweet, Babar Azam stated, “To those celebrating, #Happy Diwali. Wish you enough light, peace and love.” The Pakistani skipper had shared a picture of him with the background of burning firecrackers. He was however cautious to make it a generalised statement and avoid the mention of the word ‘Hindu.’ Despite this, he was slammed by Islamists in Pakistan for committing the sin of idolatry (Shirk).

One Islamist wrote, “We are Muslims and our religion is Islam. Therefore, we cannot congratulate people, belonging to an inappropriate (Munasib) religion.”

Another Islamist made it clear that it was not the duty of a practising Muslim to wish disbelievers (Kafir) on their festival.

Another Islamist named Junaid Ahmed parroted similar lines and warned against wishing non-Muslims. To substantiate his claims in light of Islam. he had also shared a video by Islamic cleric Mufti Tariq Masood.

One Faraz Chisti cautioned that it was not permissible to endorse polytheistic beliefs. “Congratulating non-Muslims on religious festivals seems to support their point of view. Religious festivals of non-Muslims are based on polytheistic beliefs while as Muslims it is necessary for us to show detachment and detachment from polytheism,” he remarked.

Another Islamist named Muhammad Irshad wished that Allah guide Babar Azam in the right direction (Deen) and provide him with the courage to become a true believer. “‘Don’t grow astray in this world,” he added.

One Ali Khan Lodhi cautioned, “No bro, we are Muslim and we can’t celebrate Diwali.” It must be mentioned that Babar Azam did not participate in the rituals of the Hindu festivals and merely tweeted a generalised greeting without the explicit mention of Hindus.

Earlier, Bazid Khan, Pakistani commentator and former cricketer had rejoiced ‘Kufr’s defeat’ after India lost to Pakistan in its first ‘super 12’ game of the T20 World Cup. Khan while interviewing the winning captain Babar Azam, in a post-match presentation ceremony remarked, “Lekin kufr to toot gaya,” to which Babar Azam replied, “All because of Allah.” The usage of the term ‘kufr’ by an International Cricket Council (ICC) presenter at an official ceremony had led to an outrage.

Chennai police crackdown on firecracker sellers and public for violating SC order on Diwali: Hundreds of cases filed

Chennai police have filed 758 cases against people who were caught bursting crackers violating the Supreme Court regulations and have also booked 239 shops for breaking rules and selling firecrackers on Diwali.

As per reports, the Chennai cops have come down heavily on those who were bursting crackers without following the Supreme Court orders with 758 people booked and arrests being made.

Reportedly, the police had formally arrested those people who violated the order and were booked under the bailable Section 284 (negligent as to endanger human life, or to be likely to cause hurt or injury to any person, or knowingly or negligently omits to take such order) of the IPC and were released later.

Reportedly, the Tamil Nadu government had instructed people to burst crackers from 6 am to 7 am in the morning and 7 pm to 8 pm in the evening on Diwali. The statement from the government said, “People are advised to celebrate the festival responsibly so that their action does not lead to environmental pollution,”. The statement also added “The government of Tamil Nadu is making a sincere appeal to people to celebrate the festival of lights in harmony with nature,”

Tamil Nadu government cited the 2018 Supreme Court directive to be followed in the state according to the October 29 order which had banned barium salts in firecrackers and manufacturing and the selling of joined firecrackers.

239 cases against firecracker vendors were filed for selling crackers without a license and failing to instal safety measures.

Pakistan: CM of Sindh province wishes Hindu minority a Happy Holi on the occasion of Diwali, gets trolled

0

The chief minister of the Sindh province of Pakistan, Syed Murad Ali Shah was trolled heavily on social media after he wished a Happy Holi to the Hindu minority of Sindh on the occasion of Diwali. The wrong greeting message posted on the official Twitter handle of the Chief Minister of Sindh was deleted later on. But by the time it was deleted it became viral as many users took the screenshot of the post and questioned the carelessness of the government for making such a mistake. The Twitter handle shared a picture of CM with a splash of colour in the background with a happy ‘Happy Holi’ note.

“Sindh has the largest number of Hindu population in Pakistan with areas where Hindus are in overwhelming majority. One can only be sad at the state of affairs if the staff at the CM House Sindh doesn’t know the difference between Diwali and Holi. Sad indeed,” said Murtaza Solangi, Executive editor of Nayadaur media.

“Where is the apology? It is not a mistake. It is a blunder. Mistakes are made by an individual, not by an institution,” Solangi further slammed.

Several social media users trolled the Sindh CM for the mistake in the greetings.

However, embarrassed over the gaffe, the office of the Sindh Chief Minister posted a few other greeting messages but the damage was already done.

In one of the posts, the government said that chief minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has always spoken of the protection of the rights of minorities. “Our government is providing all facilities to the minority community in all walks of life. We are equal partners in the joyous festival of the Hindu community,” it said.

The population of minority Hindus including scheduled caste in Pakistan is doubtful since the Pakistan government has been quite sceptical about releasing the data of the last census held in 2017. But Sindh is apparently the only province of Pakistan that has a significant Hindu population. Hindu minorities have always been prosecuted by Islamic fundamentalist where forceful conversion, kidnapping of Hindu girls and demolition of temples frequently takes place.

Even though the ministers are offering stolen greetings for a Hindu festival, attacks on Hindu temples continue in the country. Less than a week back, Islamic fundamentalists desecrated and vandalised a historic Panchmukhi Hanuman temple in the Kotri area in the Sindh province of Pakistan.
