Jaipur: Sexual predator Sikandar Khan, arrested for raping a 7-year old girl, confesses to sodomising at least 25 minors

34-year-old Sikandar Khan alias Kale Khan alias Jeevanu has been arrested by Jaipur Police from Kota on Saturday for allegedly raping a seven-year-old girl in Jaipur. His interrogation has revealed that he has earlier sodomised at least 25 minors in the past.

The police records show his name as ‘Jeevanu’, a name he assumed after his competitor Rafiq was named ‘Keetanu’. He has used Kale Khan and Zahid as other aliases in different parts of Jaipur. He confessed to robbing as many as 13 houses in one single night and was involved in smuggling of banned substances from Jhalawar.

On 1st July, he was arrested for abducting a seven year old girl from Shastri Nagar area. He then took her to an isolated spot where he raped her. After rape, he assaulted and then dumped her near her house. He is also accused of raping a four-year-old girl on June 22.

In 2004, he was accused of rape and murder of a minor boy in Murlipura area of the city. He was arrested from Ajmer, convicted and awarded life imprisonment. He was out-on-bail after serving sentence in the case.

Past crime records

As per reports, the police say he is a psychopath and a serial rapist. Police officials found his several conversations with sex workers. Another police official reportedly said that he is obsessed with abusing children and he is a maniac. If he is set free, he will perpetuate these crimes again, the police officer cautioned.

Khan also reportedly physically harassed the daughter of his widowed landlady as well as her friends. The landlady said that after she scolded him, he stopped doing that and hence she never complained to the police. Earlier, too, he was thrown out of his rented home because he tried to molest the 7-year-old granddaughter of the landlord.

According to police, Khan would lure the minors, take them to secluded places and rape them. If they resisted, he would kill them. He would be in an inebriated state and/or intoxicated with drugs and would hallucinate. In June 2017, he molested two girls in a crowded place and when a constable tried to intervene, Khan hit him on the head and injured him.

The police has recovered a box from Khan’s room which has a diary and two toy guns. In the diary, he has drawn a sketch of his wife with tears in her eyes and he has drawn his own image with the caption ‘Sikandar mauk ka kehar’.

There seems to be no end to the political drama in Karnataka as fresh reports claim that Congress ministers in the Congress-JDS coalition government may resign to accommodate rebel MLAs.

Reportedly, Bangalore Rural MP and senior Congress leader DK Suresh speaking to media said that all Congress ministers are set to resign from the coalition amidst speculations that a new government may be formed after the resignation of 14 Congress-JDS MLAs.

Deputy Chief Minister G Parameshwara has called for a breakfast meeting among all Congress ministers in the Karnataka government and there is a possibility that some of them may be asked to step down to make way for some or all of the dissenting MLAs to get ministerial berths. Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy is also scheduled to attend the breakfast meeting which is being held at Parameshwara’s residence.

Meanwhile, independent MLA Nagesh, who was made a minister in the Congress-JDS government recently has also submitted his resignation letter to Governor Vajubhai Vala today. In his letter, Nagesh has claimed that he wishes to withdraw the support he had given to the HD Kumaraswamy government.

On Saturday, the Congress-JDS coalition was pushed to the edge after 13 Congress and JD(S) MLAs submitted their resignations to bring its number to 105, on par with the BJP, in the 224-member Assembly.

Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy, who had gone to the United States on a personal visit had to rush back after a series of resignation threatened the existence of his government. HD Kumaraswamy returned back to Bangalore on Sunday and held a series of meetings with leaders of his party JD(S) and its ally Congress in a bid to rescue the coalition government.

In a shocking incident, a Muslim woman belonging to Aligarh district of Uttar Pradesh has been allegedly asked to vacate the house by her landlord after she joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday, reports ANI.

According to the reports, the victim, a woman named Gulistana has claimed that her landlord also misbehaved with her before asking to vacate the place. The incident occurred in the ADA colony, Delhigate, Aligarh.

“I joined the BJP recently. When my landlord came to know of it she misbehaved with me and asked me to vacate immediately,” said Gulistana.

As per local reports, Gulistana had joined the BJP on July 6 in the presence of Mahavirganj BJP Mahila Morcha leader Ruby Asif Khan. Following which, local newspapers had published a photo of the event.

Gulistana’s landlord Sultan had allegedly confronted Gulistana and had asked her to vacate the house after he saw her photo in the local papers. As per Gulistana’s complaint, Sultan’s wife Medina and son Salman had also physically assaulted her when she refused to vacate the house.

Akash Kulhary, Senior Superintendent of Police of Aligarh said that a case has been registered in the matter.

“Prima facie it appears that the mother of the landlord had demanded Rs 4,000 from Gulistana for an electricity bill, following which they had an argument over Gulistana joining a political party. Case registered under relevant sections” said police officer Kulhary.

Nine persons have been arrested by an all-women police team on Friday for the alleged rape a 16-year old minor girl on the outskirts of Pollachi in Coimbatore district of Tamil Nadu, reports Times of India.

According to the reports, the Pollachi police have arrested nine accused – A Amanullah, Mohammed Ashif, A Mohammed Rafiq, J Syed Ibrahim, A Mohammed Ali, K David alias Senthilkumar, Irshad Basha, S Mohammed Khan and N Arun Nehru for allegedly raping a Class 10 minor girl for over two years. The incident came to light after the girl went missing on Thursday.

The horrific incident occurred when the minor girl had visited her boyfriend Amanullah’s residence. According to police sources, the gang rape took place at her boyfriend’s place, where she had gone to meet him.

The police said that the prime accused Amanullah lured her into a relationship and later he and his friends raped her. Amanullah had threatened her with dire consequences if she disclosed anything.

The victim girl informed the police that she was sexually assaulted by nine places for over two years. The police said that one person named Prabhu has been absconding since the incident.

“On Thursday, Amanullah picked her up from the village and raped her along with his friend Bagavathi. When she requested them to drop her at her home, the duo refused and invited their friend Prabhu to rape her. Her relatives came to know about the incident when she returned on Friday. They approached the Pollachi all-women police,” the officer said.

The accused have been booked under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO) and section 366 (A) of IPC for the gang rape of the class 10 student, said police at the Pollachi all women’s police station.

TikTok, the video-sharing app, most of which are voice-overs of film dialogues and songs, has emerged as one of the most influential social networking apps. If you see some of the videos, you’d know how the reach of the Chinese app is so far and wide that even someone from a remote village in India could become a popular content creator.

Amidst this, a disturbing trend is emerging on TikTok. Recently, a popular TikTok ‘influencer’, Hasnain Khan, shared a video. In the shocking video, Khan is seen with four other ‘influencer’ friends of his saying, “you may have killed that innocent Tabrez Ansari, but tomorrow if his son takes revenge, do not say that all Muslims are terrorists.”


Khan seems to have deleted his video from his TikTok account.

Khan has 12.6 million followers. His videos are viewed by millions every day and hence, the reach of his video calling for revenge for Tabrez Ansari’s death cannot be passed off lightly. In a day when a WhatsApp rumour almost led to riots in the heart of national capital, the power of social media influencers cannot be downplayed.

22-year-old Tabrez Ansari was brutally beaten up by a mob in Jharkhand on 18th June on accusations of theft. Four days later, he died in police custody.

The other men in the group had also shared same Tabrez Ansari’s revenge video on their respective profiles.


However, these videos are now deleted.

In yet another case of political violence, a BJP worker named Krishna Debnath succumbed to his injuries after he was brutally beaten up by Trinamool Congress (TMC) workers for chanting ‘Jai Shri Ram’, as alleged by BJP.


The incident took place in Nadia district of West Bengal. 24-year old Krishna Debnath hailed from Swarupnagar locality in Nadia district’s Nabadwip area. Debnath was found lying on the roadside by his family members on Friday who immediately rushed him to the nearby hospital. He was referred to NRS Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata where he was declared dead.

Enraged BBJP workers blocked roads in Nabadwip for around an hour with Debnath’s body demanding justice for him. State BJP President Dilip Gosh said that people are being attacked in the State for chanting ‘Jai Shri Ram’. “The truth is that in West Bengal people are being attacked, lynched and thrown behind bars for chanting Jai Shri Ram”, said Ghosh. He demanded the resignation of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee alleging that she has failed to maintain law and order in the State.

BJP MP from Asansol, Babul Supriyo tweeted that ‘Mamata Banerjee’s bloodthirsty politics will soon see its end’.


BJP’s allegations have, however, been denied by senior TMC leader Gouri Shankar Dutt who called the allegations ‘completely baseless and politically fabricated’. “This is a baseless allegation. The person was beaten up not for chanting Jai Shri Ram but for misbehaving with women after getting drunk. Our party workers are in no way involved with the incident”, said Dutt.

According to reports, a complaint has been filed on the basis of the allegations of the family of Debnath. Debnath used to work as a chef in Chennai, he had come to visit his family in West Bengal last week.

An alleged incident of an old Dhoti clad man being stopped on Thursday from boarding the Delhi-bound Kanpur-New Delhi Shatabdi Express despite having a confirmed ticket is being widely reported in the mainstream media. The media reports alleged that the man was not allowed to board the train due to his attire. This further went viral after former Aam Admi Party (AAP) leader Kumar Vishwas shared it on Twitter tagging Minister of Railways and Commerce Piyush Goyal in his post.


According to reports, an 82-year Ram Avadh Das had alleged that he was not allowed to board the train by a GRP personnel and an attendant despite having a confirmed ticket because of his Gandhi-like attire. However, the allegations levelled by Das were not found to be true after investigation.

As per the investigation report, Ram Awadh Das reached the Etawah railway station and approached the RPF staff personnel, Dalbir Singh, who was standing near the power car coach whether he could board the coach. Since the coach was a power car (coach with generators), Singh asked Das to board another coach. But Das misunderstood the instruction and assumed that he was being prevented from boarding the coach by the cop for his attire. Moreover, the train had an only 2-minute stoppage at the station and Das could not walk fast enough due to old age to board another coach. As a result, he missed the train. This was confirmed by Ram Avadh Das himself.

After the train left, Das met station master Prince Raj Yadav to lodge a complaint. the station master offered him a seat in Magadh Express which was the next train on the route, but Das declined it saying that he had been insulted by the Railways and submitted his complaint in the log book kept with the official.

Therefore, it is clear that Ram Awadh Das was asked to board his correct coach as he went to the power car which is not passengers, and he was not prevented from boarding the train due to his attire. It is completely fake news to claim the same, in an effort to malign Indian Railways and the current government. It is also shocking that while some media reports mention the actual reason for the incident, they still carry the false allegation in their headlines, indicating their mischievous objective.

Amid the political crisis in Karnataka, 10 MLAs boarded a plane to Mumbai yesterday. They are currently lodged at the Sofitel hotel. This comes after 13 MLAs of the Congress-JDS submitted their resignations yesterday.

The MLAs were spotted arriving at the Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) airport at Bangalore from where they boarded a private charter flight. At about 8:35 pm they arrived at the Sofitel Hotel in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex.


Meanwhile, Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge has said that MLAs that have submitted their resignation have been associated with the party for a long time. He said that he has faith they would remain loyal to the party.


Kharge had blamed the BJP behind the current crisis in Karnataka. He questioned, “How it is possible to arrange a special flight to Mumbai without the support of the BJP’s Central leaders”.

While some reports allege BJP members helped MLAs fly out to Mumbai, the BJP has denied any involvement in it. In fact, Union Minister and BJP leader Pralhad Joshi have blamed the Congress party for the current crisis. He said that the entire party was planning to throw the CM HD Kumaraswamy.

Congress leader Siddaramiah, on the other hand, said that this was “Operation Kamala” while commenting on the situation. He said that there was no threat to the government. He added “I am in touch with 5-6 MLAs. I can’t reveal all the details. Everybody is loyal to the party. It is not a question of a person being loyal to me. Everybody is expected to be loyal to the party”.
The Congress and JDS leaders met this afternoon at HD Deve Gowda’s residence in Bengaluru to handle the current situation.
Meanwhile, Maharashtra Youth Congress workers have been protesting outside Sofitel hotel in Mumbai in which the 10 MLAs are residing. The workers including its vice-president Suraj Singh Thakur have been detained by the police.


BJP MLC Prasad Lad was spotted outside the same hotel. He, however, said that he was busy with the party’s membership drive and was aware of the current situation in Karnataka.


As reported by News18, JDS chief Deve Gowda has publicly accused former CM Siddaramaiah of orchestrating the political crisis in the state. “I know Siddaramaiah is behind the political turmoil in the state. Those who had resigned are his supporters”, said the former PM.

Reportedly, Karnataka CM HD Kumaraswamy had gone to the US on a personal visit. It was to lay the foundation stone for constructing Sri Kala Bhairaveshwara temple at New Jersey on June 30. He had also attended a convention that began on July 4th. Just today, he had landed in Delhi in transit and had boarded a special flight to Bangalore. He would be meeting with his party members this evening.

The current political turmoil had been triggered by the resignation of 13 Congress-JDS MLAs yesterday. The coalition needs a minimum of 113 legislators to remain in power. Currently, they have 116 MLAs in the 224-member state assembly. If the resignations of the 11 lawmakers are accepted, the alliance will fall short of the majority mark.

Kashmiri separatists have called for a shutdown on Monday, to mark the third death anniversary of the slain terrorist Burhan Wani.

In a statement, the separatist group Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) have appealed to the people of Tral and adjoining areas to pay homage to Burhan Wani and other terrorists like him on July 8. JRL is a conglomerate of separatists headed by Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umer Farooq and Yasin Malik.

Reportedly, intelligence agencies have said that terrorists are planning to carry out an attack in the Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir on July 8. Sources say that a new group of six to eight Pakistan terrorists have reached Pulwama.

Their main target is the highway stretch leading from the toll plaza at Chechikot in Awantipora to the four-way bridge at Galander in Pulwama. Burhan Wani’s hometown Tral is in the Pulwama district and hence is of great significance for the terrorists.

For several years Burhan Wani had managed to stay away from the grasp of the security forces. He was finally killed in a gunfight in Kokernag, Anantnag, on 8 July 2016.

As reported in 2016, several people had attempted to whitewash Wani’s image. Journalist Burkha Dutt termed him as a “son of school headmaster”. Former J&K CM Omar Abdullah was more worried about the aftermath of Wani’s death, instead of congratulating the army. Activist Kavita Krishnan, on the other hand, condemned the supposed “extrajudicial killing” of Wani.

In May, it was reported that Pakistan also wishes to glorify Burhan Wani. A Pakistan legislator, who is a member of Imran Khan’s PTI, would be playing the role of Burhan Wani in a movie. Last month National Conference (NC) leader Ali Mohammad Sagar eulogized anti-India terrorists alleging that BJP made inroads in Kashmir in areas where Burhan Wani and Zakir Musa were shot down in an encounter by the Indian Armed Forces.
