It is expected that the arrears of the seventh pay commission will be given with retrospective effect from January 2016
Cabinet approves 2 percent DA hike to 9 percent, more than one crore people to be benefited
The increase is added to the existing 7% of the Basic pay/Pension, making it 9% of the basic pay.
