A minor girl's family reportedly received death threats after it filed a complaint against madrassa teacher for assaulting their daughter.

The Hindus were assaulted by the Muslims when they reached near a mosque. They were also beaten with sticks.

The priest told the police that the assailants claimed the village head was with them and that they would expel Hindus from the village. He further stated that the Hindu residents, already a small minority in the village, are living in fear following the incident.

After a case was filed against the accused, the police reported that more investigation is under progress.
