Qureshi is accused of leading an Islamist gang involved in sexual exploitation and forced conversion of minor Hindu girls in Bijainagar. The court denied bail to Qureshi citing the serious nature of charges against him.
A similar pattern of targeting young girls was seen in 1992 Ajmer case and in Beawar in February this year. In Bhopal as well, Hindu girls were targeted in a similar way by Muslim youths.
