Anthropic's Threat Intelligence team identified the operations through its monitoring and investigations into Claude's misuse.

The US Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Agency, along with other key authorities have accused Chinese AI companies of conducting industrial-scale distillation of AI models of OpenAI, Claude, Grok, and others to extract proprietary capabilities, thus reducing development timelines and costs for their own AI models.

The hackers affiliated with the Chinese state-sponsored QTFY group were employed by Nanjing Xinjiuwei Network Technology Company, a China-based tech company. The QTFY group created and operated QScan and QRouter computer hacking services.

India's ambitious River Linking Project under the NWDA aims to interconnect 30 inter-basin river links, comprising 14 Himalayan and 16 Peninsular components.

"Risks related to the Bosporus and the Strait of Hormuz might require alternative routes," stated deputy PM Khusnullin.
