Delhi's Patiala house court to hear JNU sedition case in which Kanhaiya Kumar and Umar Khalid are charged, amid Arvind Kejriwal government's refusal to give consent to prosecute
In a tweet Barkha Dutt had posted herself on social media the previous day, she had advertised that her number was online and available to Kashmiris who needed help or 'felt vulnerable'.
There have been many incidents of violence, loot, even rape and murder in cabs in recent years. Though not all incidents can be related to fake identities and fake documents being used, it cannot be denied that the lack of a mechanism to ensure the identity of the driver in a cab is a major safety loophole.
The court has questioned the Delhi police as to why the chargesheet in the JNU sedition case against Kanhaiya Kumar, Umar Khalid and others was filed without proper sanction from the Delhi government led by Arvind Kejriwal
Incidentally, the murder spree occurred in West Delhi, the same region of the capital city where Ankit Saxena was murdered last year by her Muslim girlfriend's family.
