The accused was a part of Telegram, WhatsApp, Snapchat and Discord groups named “Sanataniyon ki Nilami”, among others, which targeted Hindu women for conversion to Islam via love and rape jihad. Moin Khan was later arrested.
Kota Hostel Association President Naveen Mittal said that Kota was earlier a coaching industry however, this is the first time in the last two decades that the number of students coming to Kota has decreased by 25 to 30%.
Station House officer of Kota’s Bapawar Kala Police Station, Uttam Singh said that the school Principal Mohammed Shafiq was arrested for disturbing social harmony.
The deceased has been identified as Parshuram, a resident of Uttar Pradesh's Mathura. He had come to Kota a week ago to prepare for the medical entrance exam.
Police stated that Kavya's photo with her wrists tied behind her back had gone viral on social media, and she had sent the photo to her father, claiming that her abductors had demanded a ransom of Rs 30 lakh.
