Team OpIndia contacted the 17-year-old victim to know about the recent updates in the case. The girl said that she has resumed her daily wage job with her mother and that no arrests have yet been made by the Police in the case.
"These authorities just acknowledge the letter and take no action. It has been 10 years and the illegal structure still stands there even after the Bombay High Court had directed action against the property", Hindu activists have stated.
The Police took cognizance of the event and immeditely ordered removal of the posters. The police also filed a complaint in the case under sections 293, 294 and 153 IPC after Vishwa Hindu Parishad lodged a police complaint over posters.
