West Bengal has earned a bad name over the years for violence orchestrated by Trinamool Congress (TMC) goons against rival political workers

Some Islamists and leftists on X began crying 'mob-lynching' after people caught hold of Tanzeem and Faizan who were assaulting a shopkeeper.

In an X post, Meer Faisal peddled the narrative that Shahabuddin was lynched by a mob and police took no action even though in his own report it was stated that the the police has clarified the Maulana was not lynched but succumbed to injuries sustained in the accident.

The video of the incident is making rounds on social media in which a girl wearing a burqa can be seen trying to escape from the attack by the Muslim mob.

In the complaint, she made serious allegations against Aurangzeb and his three accomplices, including barging into their house, stealing, molesting the women of the house, and taking the family members hostage.

Hindu traders have have alleged that they are being targeted under the wrong sections for raising their voices against Halal products. 

The victim's nephew Sajid told Swarajya, "My uncle was only trying to do a good deed by cleaning the street, but see what it did to him."
