The Tamil Nadu doctor sexually assaulted girls aged between 5 to 10 years in the name of health check-ups.

Superintendent of Police, Karanraj Vaghela said, "The offence has been registered under POCSO and BNS sections as per the complaint filed by the parents of the girl. The accused is a friend of the girl's father."

The accused Maulvi has been booked under serious charges including under POCSO Act.
