Upon receiving information about the incident, Superintendent of Police Abhinav Dhiman, Sub-Divisional Officer Amit Anurag, Sub-Divisional Officer Hulas Kumar, and Headquarters DSP Nishu Malik arrived at the spot with a heavy police force.
Ram Navami celebrations in the country have come under attack in the past couple of days. Several incidents of stone and brick pelting by Islamists on Ram Navami processions and devotees have surfaced in multiple states.
During the meeting, Police Station Incharge Ranjay Kumar said that DJ should not be played at any cost by Hindus in the Ram Navami procession. If DJ is played, not only the DJ will be confiscated, but action will also be taken against the members of the committee. He said that the procession of the village will be taken through the same route which it used to take earlier.
