On 17th December, BJP IT Cell chief Amit Malviya shared a video on his X handle, showing Kirti Azad concealing an object in his hand and moving it towards his mouth.

Biswajit Ghosh, the elder brother of Bholanath Ghosh has alleged that it was not an accident but a conspiracy orchestrated at Sheikh Shahjahan’s behest to kill the witness. Biswajit added that Shahjahan earlier attempted to have his father killed.

The Calcutta High Court declined to stay a foundation stone-laying ceremony for a proposed mosque in Murshidabad.

Humayun Kabir declared, "I will lay the foundation stone of Babri Masjid today. Police are supporting me. I have already spoken with them."
