Basti police arrested AIMIM leader Ajfarul Haq for allegedly running a large-scale exploitation and forced conversion racket. Haq reportedly posed as a Hindu to trap women, with the victim claiming nearly 300 others were targeted by his family-run network.

Tensions have flared in Agra’s Kamala Nagar as 40 Hindu families put up "House for Sale" posters, citing continuous harassment and assault by a local family. While residents allege a climate of fear and police inaction, authorities claim the dispute is being resolved.
