Police is asking for proof of rape, says Sandeshkhali women, NCW chief says police filed case against victim's relatives instead of Shiekh Shahjahan

Sandeshkhali women have come on record explaining how they were being sexually exploited by Sheikh Shahjahan and his men.

The West Bengal unit of the BJP shared a video wherein some people were seen recovering the dead body of Jyotsna Saha. It accused the ruling Trinamool Congress government in the State of killing BJP workers and their family members.

West Bengal police working at the behest of CM Mamata Banerjee clashed with BJP workers who were trying to reach the SP's office in Basirhat to protest against the systematic sexual assault of Hindu women in Sandeshkhali at the hands of Trinamool Congress (TMC) goons

The apex court took cognisance of the after it was brought up at the Calcutta High Court by amicus curiae lawyer Tapas Kumar Bhanja who informed court that an estimated 196 babies have been delivered in different jails throughout West Bengal

"Now, the situation is so grave that these areas are geographically in India, but demographically it has become almost Bangladesh," Diptasya Jash remarked.

A resident of Sandeshkhali slammed Mamata Banerjee and asked whether the increase in monthly subsidy from ₹500 to ₹1000 is the 'compensation' for being sexually exploited by her party cadres.

"TMC workers would come to the village and pick out the 'beautiful women.' These men would hunt for young women and send diktat to their families to hand over the victims to them," a Hindu woman recounted.

During the protests, the Nandigram MLA said, “TMC is a rapist party. All BJP leaders have been arrested. No other party has any role in it but TMC... BJP is the only support of Hindu nationalists... We will not obey Section 144."
