UP CM Yogi Adityanath had met the bereaved family of late Kamlesh Tiwari on October 20 and assured them that the culprits will be brought to books for their misdeeds.
Tiwari, a former Hindu Mahasabha leader, was assassinated at his Lucknow office by one Ashfaq and one Moinuddin who are still absconding and on the run.
Mother of Kamlesh Tiwari referred to Yogi Adityanath as her elder son and said that she felt good after meeting him. She also demanded that justice should be served to her son.
Earlier today, UP DGP OP Singh had informed in a press conference that the three suspects and the two killers were all radicalised and they had planned Tiwari's murder.
Gujarat ATS had arrested three persons named Faizan Pathan, Khurshid Ahmed Pathan and a Maulvi named Mohsin Sheikh in connection with the murders. Khurshid is also stated to be a computer expert.
In December 2015, protests had broken out in several cities, from north to south, east to west, demanding a death sentence for Kamlesh Tiwari because he had called prophet Muhammad gay.
