Congress MLA from Madhya Pradesh compares Shivraj Singh Chouhan to a prostitute

Sunderlal Tiwari, a Congress MLA from Rewa district of Madhya Pradesh while addressing the media compared chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan to a prostitute and said that, “The way a prostitute sells her soul, in the same way, the chief minister of the state Shivraj Singh Chouhan is selling his soul to get votes”. He went on to accuse the chief minister of his alleged involvement in Vyapam scam and said that if he is not brought to justice, it will be proved that law and order in the state is not for the poor people.

The Congress MLA further accused the BJP government of indulging in malpractices by manipulating the poor and unemployed to vote for their party. He said that the Chief Minister is running a free hand to influence the voters and this is the reason why the judges of the Supreme Court had to speak in the public about the injustice happening in the country.

The elections to 230-member Madhya Pradesh legislative is yet to be announced and both the BJP and Congress seems to be fighting hard to emerge victorious in the coming elections. The Chief Minister of the state Shivraj Singh Chouhan is fighting elections for his fourth successive term, while the  Congress party seems to be a divided house. The rift within the Congress has surfaced in the public, as it is yet to announce its Chief Minister candidate.
