The court has ordered the police to find Shama as soon as possible. There is no trace of Shama since Monday (23rd December 2024).

A Muslim girl who married a Hindu youth has gone missing in Muzaffarpur district of Bihar. Father of Shama Parveen, who married Lokesh Kumar, has been accused of orchestrating her disappearance. Following the disappearance, Shama’s husband Lokesh Kumar has appealed to the court to find his wife.

The court has ordered the police to find Shama as soon as possible. There is no trace of Shama since Monday (23rd December 2024).

According to reports, the case is from Aurai police station area of Muzaffarpur. Lokesh Kumar and Shama Parveen live in one of the neighborhood in a village here. Both were friends since childhood. This friendship later turned into love. Lokesh and Shama Parveen wanted to get married. However, Shama’s family was not ready for this. To keep her away from Lokesh, Shama was sent to her aunt in Surat on 8th August 2024.

Shama stayed in contact with Lokesh on phone from Surat. Meanwhile, on 6th December, Lokesh went to Surat to meet Shama as per their pre-arranged plan. From there, both of them came to Delhi. On 9th December, both of them got married in Delhi’s Tis Hazari Court. After this, they got married in a temple according to Hindu customs. Then both of them went to Agra and Patna for a trip. Finally, on 16th December, Lokesh reached his village with his wife Shama.

Meanwhile, Shama’s father filed a missing report of his daughter in Gaighat police station. Her father said in the complaint that his daughter disappeared on the way to Darbhanga. As soon as the couple reached home, the police of Gaighat police station reached to take Shama’s statement. On 17th December, the police recorded Shama’s statement in the missing report filed by her father.

Shama told the police and the court that she was an adult and that she had married Lokesh Kumar. She expressed her wish to stay with Lokesh. The court sent her home with Lokesh based on Shama’s statement. Meanwhile, Shama’s parents played a new trick. On 23rd December, both of them called their daughter to Sitamarhi to meet them.

Shama thought that her parents had agreed to accept this marriage. This was her mistake. Shama went to Sitamarhi to meet her parents along with her husband Lokesh Kumar. There, Shama’s parents came in a car. They forcibly made Shama sit in the car and took her away with them. Lokesh has lodged a complaint about this.

In Lokesh’s complaint given to Dumra police station, Shama’s parents have been accused of kidnapping his wife. Lokesh has also expressed the fear of something untoward happening to Shama. When complaints to the police made no difference, Lokesh approached the court. The Muzaffarpur court has now ordered the police to search for Shama.
