Remember that Sardar kid who cried as India tied with Afghanistan? He is now preparing to celebrate on Friday

Last night, as India tied with Afghanistan in the Asia Cup last night, moving to Finals, an image of a kid sobbing at not being able to celebrate victory went viral on the Internet.

Sardar kid crying after India tied with Afghanistan

The Internet was moved by the pureness in the boy as many perhaps saw their own childhood in the innocence of the child.

The men in blue were also moved to see the child cry. While Harbhajan Singh consoled him on Twitter saying that the finals, which will be held on Friday (against either Pakistan or Bangladesh, depending on the match today), will be won by India, Bhuvneshwar Kumar called and cheered him up.

And now, along with him, we all look forward to the victory on Friday. Here’s to team India.
