PFI terrorists who murdered Praveen Nettaru had hidden weapons in Mosques and Madrasas, Praveen suspected the plot to kill him

0

One after the other, National Investigation Agency (NIA) findings are revealing shocking details of the gruesome murder of Karnataka BJP youth leader Praveen Nettaru last year. In the latest, NIA findings reveal the shocking details of how the crime was planned and executed by the banned Islamist outfit Popular Front of India (PFI).

NIA has revealed that the PFI had hidden lethal weapons like machetes in Mosques, Madrasas, and houses. The PFI ‘Killer Squad’ had marked 21 such Mosques where they could hide the weapons to use when required. The PFI carried out Nettaru’s murder to avenge one Kalanja Masood’s murder. Nettaru’s killers had received training in Kerala’s Idukki.

In an even more shocking revelation, it has come to light that Praveen Nettaru had already learned about the murder plot. Moreover, he had told his friend Charan Raj that he had been followed by someone for months. In addition, he requested the installation of a CCTV in front of his store for safety and security. The audio recording of Praveen speaking to his friend has been confiscated by the NIA officers.

The NIA has filed a chargesheet against 20 members of the PFI for murdering Praveen Nettaru in July last year. Last week, the probe agency informed a special court that Nettaru was murdered by a killer squad of the PFI as part of its plan to instil terror into a “specific community” (Hindus) and further their agenda of “Islamic rule in India by 2047.”

The NIA also stated that the PFI had formed covert units known as “Service Teams” or “Killer Squads” to carry out the murder of its “perceived enemies” and targets.

According to the charge sheet, PFI’s secret team or “Service Team” members received weapons, attack training, and training in surveillance techniques in order to locate, list, and mount surveillance on people/leaders associated with particular communities and groups. The trained members of these ‘secret teams’ were then instructed by senior PFI leaders to kill or assault their targets.

According to the chargesheet, “four people were recced and identified as per instructions, and among them was Praveen Nettaru, a BJP Yuva Morcha District Committee Member, who was assaulted and killed on July 26, 2022, in full view of the public with lethal weapons to instill fear among the general populace and specifically among members of a particular community.”

NIA arrests a fruit seller used by PFI to source info on RSS, BJP events, earlier ISIS admitted to recruiting PFI terrorists

0

On Friday, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) revealed that the now-banned Islamist organization named the Popular Front of India (PFI) had asked a local fruit seller identified as Mohammed Sadik to gather information about the RSS and BJP programs in the Kollam district of Kerala. The fruit seller was arrested by the agency on January 17.

According to the reports, the PFI members had employed the 40-year-old fruit seller as a ‘reporter’ who was supposed to collect details about leaders of other communities for possible targeting by ‘hit squads’ of the PFI.

On January 17, the NIA launched searches in the Kollam district and detained Muhammed Sadik, a Mannezhathuthara resident. Sadik, a father of two, lived with his family and is presently in legal detention. The NIA is interviewing him to learn more about other informants.

According to reports, the NIA discovered that the PFI radicalized numerous locals including Sadik, and referred to them as ‘reporters’ after assigning them a duty to gather information. Reports mention that Sadik is a high school dropout who met several PFI members in 2012. He was radicalized by them and chose to join the PFI. He was working as a fruit seller when they instructed him to gather all information on RSS and BJP activities. They also particularly requested that he gather information regarding the RSS and BJP event’s attendee list.

The NIA during the searches conducted on January 17 recovered pamphlets of several RSS events and guest lists from his possession. “The case pertains to activities of the PFI, its office-bearers, members, and affiliates in Kerala for conspiring to indulge in unlawful activities by creating enmity between members of different religions and groups and encouraging vulnerable youth to join terrorist organizations, including Lashkar-e-Taiba, Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS)/Daesh and al-Qaida conspiracy to establish Islamic rule in India by committing terrorist acts as a part of violent jihad,” NIA said.

According to the NIA official, investigations have revealed that the PFI had assigned the job of a ‘reporter’ to Sadik. During the searches, digital devices and several incriminating documents have also been seized from the house of the accused.

Meanwhile, the mouthpiece of the terrorist organization ISIS named the Voice of Khorasan released its 20th issue of the magazine to come out openly in support of the PFI. The magazine stated that several PFI activists had ‘shahadat’ (martyrdom) while supporting ISIS in its terror activities across the world.

One of the articles in the magazine also encouraged PFI members to take up guns to further their evil goals, as carrying banners against the Indian government would not suffice. It also used aggressive language towards Hindus, declaring that ‘cow worshipers’ and ‘polytheists’ must be handled using weaponry and that protests against the government are not an option.

The propaganda article also discusses the PFI rebuilding despite the ban and turning to terror rather than protests to carry out their objective. The Centre enforced a five-year prohibition on the PFI and its related businesses under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967 (UAPA) on September 28, 2022, considering their links to ISIS.

Despite a five-year ban, PFI is being investigated by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) for its involvement in subversive anti-India operations. The PFI, which was founded in 2006, came under scrutiny for anti-national actions, and pan-India searches were undertaken last year under ‘Operation Octopus,’ leading to the arrest of numerous PFI officials.

The NIA’s most recent raid occurred on January 17, when PFI activist Mohammad Sadik was arrested in the Chavara region of Kerala’s Kollam district. In addition to Kerala, arrests have been made in Maharashtra, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Assam.

‘Your God is weaker than Jesus, so become a Christian’: Pastor’s conversion bid foiled in Indore, 7 arrested

A case of religious conversion under the garb of treatment has come to light in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. A pastor of a church in the Jhabua district, after giving medicine to a tribal Hindu family in Indore, told them that their God has not cured them so they should convert to Christianity. Police have arrested 7 people in this case, as the pastor tried to convert the tribal Hindu family on Monday 23rd January 2023.

A tribal family was forcibly converted to Christianity in Hathunia village under the Kshipra police station area, 35 km from Indore. According to a report by Navbharat Times, a tribal Hindu named Man Singh told that he fell ill a year ago. He was not cured despite undergoing multiple treatments. During this time, one of his relatives from the Dhar district advised him to get treatment from the church in the Chhapri village of the Jhabua district.

Man Singh along with his family reached the Chhapri church where he met pastor Resingh who offered Man Singh some water and gave him some medicines and asked him to chant the name of the God of Christianity. Slowly, Man Singh’s health started recovering.

After treatment, Man Singh returned to his village Hathunia with his family. After this, Pastor Resingh started visiting Man Singh’s house. During this time, Resingh continued to treat Man Singh. When Man Singh recovered completely, he was asked to convert.

According to Man Singh, the pastor said, “Your God didn’t heal. Our God has healed you. So now you become a Christian. Your God is less powerful. You have been healed by the God of Christianity.” Man Singh alleged that pastor Resingh threw out the photos of Hindu deities from Man Singh’s house and gave him some money and a few books to read. The pastor also lured Man Singh by saying ‘if you convert to Christianity, your children will get many facilities including good education and health care for free’.

On Monday, 23rd January 2023, pastor Resingh along with his wife, son, and others reached Man Singh’s house and during the conversation started asking him to convert to Christianity. He took a religious book and recited some hymns from it and poured splashes of water on Man Singh. After this, he said, ‘now you have become a Christian with your family’.

People in the vicinity informed the Hindu organization about this. The activists of the Hindu organization who reached the spot took Man Singh to the police station and lodged a case against the pastor and others.

On the complaint of Man Singh, a case has been registered at the Kshipra police station against Pastor Resingh, his wife Umli, his son Khemraj, his friend Hakim, his wife Mangali, Man Singh Padada, and his wife Kalibai.

Following the complaint, the police registered a case against the seven accused and seized books and water bottle, and arrested the seven accused. Kshipra police station in-charge Girija Shankar Mahobia said that Pastor Resingh had been involved in activities like religious conversion in the past. At the same time, Minister Tulsi Silawat has ordered strict action in this matter. He said that strict action should be taken against such people.

“All the cases in which charges of Uttar Pradesh Prohibition of Unlawful Religious Conversion of Religion Act, 2021, have been slapped are being monitored at the headquarters level,” he added.

ADG Kumar informed that the accused had adopted illegal means such as inducement, and allurement to facilitate conversions to Christianity.

Allahabad High Court rejects anticipatory bail of man who converted 90 Hindus

Earlier this month, the Allahabad High Court rejected anticipatory bail to a man who was accused of enticing 90 Hindus to convert their religion to Christianity by promising them financial and other advantages. The bail appeal was filed by Bhanu Pratap Singh, and was denied by Justice Jyotsna Sharma’s bench.

According to the reports, the FIR, in this case, was registered by Himanshu Dixit who alleged that on April 15, 2022, around 90 Hindus had gathered at the Evangelical Church of India, Hariharganj, Fatehpur, with the intention of converting their religion to Christianity.

Bizarre: Kamal Haasan’s party announces merger with Congress on its website, takes the site down claiming it was hacked

Hours after Kamal Haasan-led Makkal Needhi Maiam party announced on its website that it has decided to merge with Indian National Congress, the official statement has gone mysteriously missing from the website. No official clarification has been issued by the party so far.

Earlier in the day, Makkal Needhi Maiam had issued a strangely worded statement announcing that it will formally merge with the Congress party on 30 January. The decision of the merger was taken after Kamal Haasan met Rahul Gandhi, they had said. “On 30th January – we will bring Bapu back from the dead to fight Hindutva. That is the message,” the party said in its statement.

Moreover, Kamal Haasan was quoted as saying, “Ever since Rahul Gandhi said that he had killed Rahul Gandhi, I wanted to do something similar. Today Makkal Needhi Maiam has killed Makkal Needhi Maiam, and we are all Congress.”

The strangely worded statement referred to India as ‘the South Asian Union of States’, in line with Rahul Gandhi’s claim that India is not a nation but a union of states.

But now the statement has been taken down from the website of the party, and the message “File not found” is displayed on visiting the URL of the statement. The archived version of the statement can be accessed here.

According to sources, the PRO of Kamal Haasan has said that they had not issued the statement, and therefore it has been taken down. It is not known whether some party leader uploaded the statement without the knowledge of the top leaders, or whether the website was hacked.

However, after the statement was deleted, the website of the Makkal Needhi Maiam was also taken offline. On visiting the website, a message appears saying that are performing some maintenance.

A formal statement from the Kamal Haasan or the Makkal Needhi Maiam is awaited.

It is notable that Makkal Needhi Maiam has already announced support for Congress candidate E.V.K.S. Elangovan from the DMK-led alliance in upcoming Erode bypolls in Tamil Nadu. Last month, Kamal Haasan joined Rahul Gandhi in his Bharat Jodo Yatra in New Delhi.

Update: Makkal Needhi Maiam has now released a statement saying that their website was hacked.

In a tweet on Friday evening, the party said that they are not afraid of despicable deeds of those who are accustomed to suppressing the democratic forces, and they will give a befitting reply. Their website still remains down at the time of updating this report.

‘Why should not religious places be left to religious people?’: Supreme Court dismisses Andhra govt’s plea to take over Ahobilam Temple administration

0

On Friday, January 27, Supreme Court refused to entertain the Andhra Pradesh government’s plea challenging the state High Court’s bverdict, which stated that the state government’s decision to designate an “Executive Officer” to oversee and manage the affairs of the Ahobilam Temple in Kurnool was unlawful. The State’s move, according to the High Court order, violates A. 26(d) of the Constitution and impairs the Mathadipathi’s right to administer.

As per a report by Live Law, the Supreme Court bench comprising Justices SK Kaul and AS Oka on Friday while hearing the Andhra Pradesh government’s Special Leave Petition challenging October 13, 2022, high court order questioned why the affairs of religious places not be left to the religious people. The SC bench was not convinced by the state government’s move to interfere in temple administration.

The top court ruled that the Andhra Pradesh government has no legal authority, jurisdiction, or entitlement to appoint an executive officer of the Sri Ahobilam Mutt Parampara Aadheena Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Devasthanam (Ahobilam Mutt Temple).

“Why are you stepping into this? Let the temple people deal with it. Why should not religious places be left to religious people?” Justice Kaul asked State counsel Niranjan Reddy after finding his argument unconvincing. State counsel Reddy had argued that the Andhra Pradesh government had earlier also appointed executive officers to the temple and there were no protests. It started only after an executive officer was appointed in March 2019.

In October last year, the high court had noted that the Ahobilam temple in Andhra Pradesh is an “integral and inseparable part of the Ahobilam Mutt which is situated in Tamil Nadu.”

Dismissing the state government’s contention that the temple and the Mutt are two distinct entities, the high court observed that merely because of the different geographical location of the temple and the mutt,  the temple does not seize to be a part of the mutt.

The High Court stated that because the State does not have general authority to supervise and control Mutt, interference in its affairs should only be made when there are good reasons to do so, such as poor management. No material in the record supports the appointment of the Executive Officer in light of the case’s facts, the Court noted. The Division Bench also noted that Mathadipathis, whose appointment was not exercised by the Government, has been in charge of the Temple since the Endowments Act of 1927. Besides, there has been ample historical evidence proving that the temple administration has always been governed by the seer of the Ahobila Mutt.

About the Ahobilam Temple

According to the information available on the Ahobilam Temple’s website, about 400 KM northwest of Chennai, in the hills of the eastern ghats, in the Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh, is where the Ahobilam Temple is located.

The temple is comprised of nine shrines to Lord Nrisimha that are arranged in a 5-kilometer circle. In the mountain’s foothills, in addition to the nine shrines, there is a temple dedicated to Prahaladavarada Varadhan.

Lord Narsimha had defeated Hiranyakasipu and saved Prahalada in Ahobilam. Mahalakshmi (Goddess Lakshmi) took incarnation (Avatar) as Senjulakshmi, among the Senju hill tribe of hunters, and married Lord Narmsimha.

About Ahobilam Mutt

Sri Ahobilam Muth, one of India’s most prominent Sri Vaishnava institutions, was founded on the orders of Lord Lakshmi Nrisimha of Ahobilam by Sri Athivan Satakopan who was originally known as Kidambi Srinivashchar. As per the information available on the Ahobilam Mutt’s website, the Ahobilam Mutt was founded 600 years ago.

53% of respondents believe Muslim men indulge in ‘love jihad’: India Today Mood of the Nation survey

The India Today-CVoter Mood of the Nation survey indicated on Thursday that 53 per cent of the over 1.40 lakh respondents believed that Muslim men indulge in ‘love jihad’. As per the media outlet, a total of 1,40,917 people participated in the survey. An additional 1,05,008 interviews from CVoter’s regular tracker were also analyzed.

Out of the total number of respondents, 53% agreed with the phenomenon of love jihad and concurred that Muslim males engage in the practice in which vulnerable Hindu women are targeted by Muslim men, lured and deceived, forcibly converted to Islam, tortured, raped, and then either killed or abandoned.

While the left and the so-called liberals have always dismissed these occurrences as a figment of the ‘right-wing imagination’, the cases are real.

To combat this grave threat, many states, including Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, and Karnataka, have enacted stringent laws that criminalise Love Jihad and other forms of illegal conversions; however, several incidents continue to emerge every other day from every nook and corner of the country where susceptible and vulnerable Hindu women are being targeted and exploited in the name of ‘love’.

OpIndia has consistently been at the forefront of reporting incidents in which vulnerable Hindu women are groomed to accept their own subjugation at the hands of Muslim men. When the year 2022 came to an end, OpIndia reported as many as 153 instances of ‘Love Jihad’ or ‘Grooming Jihad’ we documented last year.

After meeting Rahul Gandhi, Kamal Hasaan’s party ‘Makkal Needhi Maiam kills Makkal Needhi Maiam’, to merge with Congress to ‘fight Hindutva’

Kamal Haasan led Makkal Needhi Maiam party has decided to merge with Indian National Congress ahead of the Lok Sabha elections. In a statement issued today on its website, Makkal Needhi Maiam said that not just Kamal Haasan, but all the members of the party are with Rahul Gandhi “in his attempts to save India, the South Asian Union of States”.

Therefore, they have decided to merge with Congress, the party said. The merger will officially take place on 30 January.

“On 30th January – we will bring Bapu back from the dead to fight Hindutva. That is the message,” the party said in its statement. The Kamal Haasan’s party added that they hope that “other parties will follow Makkal Needhi Maiam and merge themselves with Indian National Congress so that the party becomes strong and big enough to defeat Bhartiya Janata Party.”

“If different ideologies could come together to form Janata Party to defeat Indira Gandhi, there is no reason why parties of almost similar ideologies can’t merge together to defeat Bhartiya Janata Party,” the statement quoted Rahul Gandhi as saying.

“Ever since Rahul Gandhi said that he had killed Rahul Gandhi, I wanted to do something similar. Today Makkal Needhi Maiam has killed Makkal Needhi Maiam, and we are all Congress,” Kamal Haasan said, according to the statement issued by Makkal Needhi Maiam.

It is notable that Makkal Needhi Maiam has already announced support for Congress candidate E.V.K.S. Elangovan from the DMK-led alliance in upcoming Erode bypolls in Tamil Nadu. Last month, Kamal Haasan had joined Rahul Gandhi in his Bharat Jodo Yatra in New Delhi.

Update: Later in the day, the statement was removed from the website of Makkal Needhi Maiam. The party issued a statement on Twitter claiming that its website was hacked, and it didn’t announce any merger with Congress. The website was also taken down for maintenance.

In the tweet on Friday evening, the party said that they are not afraid of despicable deeds of those who are accustomed to suppressing the democratic forces, and they will give a befitting reply.

Shah Rukh Khan’s “Pathaan” is promoting nationalist jingoistic rhetoric of fascist Modi government, Arfa Nizami of The Tyre writes

0

Cinemagoers have been going gaga over the recent Bollywood release “Pathaan” featuring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham. While innocent fans are enjoying this film as just a film, intellectuals like us know that the film is blatant propaganda to promote the nationalist rhetoric of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

If you are still unaware, Narendra Modi came to power in India in 2014 riding a wave of jingoism, he ensured the wave lasted long enough to get him a win even in 2019. Looking at films like Pathaan, one can sense that jingoism still sells so Modi may also win the next election in 2024.

Now, Pathaan and jingoism, where do we begin, first of all, ‘Pathaan’, that is Shah Rukh Khan, is an agent of the Indian secret services. Showing a Muslim actor, named Pathaan, as an agent of India is an attack against the Muslim minorities in India. Why did he have to be Pathaan, why did he have to be Muslim even though his backstory says he wasn’t Muslim. This clearly stated that Muslims in India have to work for the Indian government to be considered Indians. Shame on Shah Rukh Khan for doing such a film.

The real jingoism actually begins later, the villain, named Jim, who was the best RAW agent before turning rogue, says that he wants to take revenge on ‘Bharat Mata’, which is totally understandable. After all, who among us doesn’t want to attack India and that proverbial ‘Bharat Mata’.

However, the jingoist hero of Pathaan, Shah Rukh Khan, who is conveniently named Pathaan, tries to stop that. Kyun bhai? A former Indian agent wants to destroy India, who are you to interfere with that plan?

John Abraham repeatedly keeps saying that he wants to hurt ‘Bharat Mata’, so trying to hurt India is villainous? Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan protecting India from John Abraham is somehow good, arey bhai you are pathaan, afghan, Taliban rule, let India collapse.

That is not all, the villain keeps saying I want to hurt Bharat Mata throughout the film, and the ‘hero’ Pathaan aka Shah Rukh says ‘Jai Hind’. We all know saying Jai Hind is an assault against minorities, but Shah Rukh Khan willingly chose to say that.

On top of that, the film has an ISI agent who helps India, Deepika Padukone. Why are ISI agents helping India in every Bollywood film? Pakistan is the one country helping us resist fascism in India but these films actually try to portray that Pakistan is actually helping India’s fascist leadership, shameful.

What this tells us is that we can not rely on Bollywood to resist fascism, they will always succumb to the majority sentiment, with Pathaan, they have said that attacking India is wrong, which is jingoism and extreme nationalism, and at some level, transphobic.

Sindhi Hindus to adhere only to Sanatani practises and return all copies of the Guru Granth Sahib back to Sikhs: Top Udasi Seer

0

The Sindhi Hindus will only adhere to “Sanatani” customs, as per a revered Udasi Hindu saint.

Additionally, he urged Sindhi Hindus worldwide to give Guru Granth Sahib replicas kept in their temples back to Gurudwaras.

As a result of a protest by a Sikh group from Punjab about the placement of the Sikh holy text close to “murtis” of deities in temples belonging to the Sindhi community, 50 Sindhi Hindu temples in Indore withdrew copies of the Guru Granth Sahib and gave those to a local gurudwara.

According to reports, Nihang Sikhs from the Punjabi city of Amritsar were among the protesters.

They got into an argument with the management of the temple and demanded that either the temples where copies of the Guru Granth Sahib were stored be designated Gurudwaras or that they be taken out to prevent sacrilege. The situation even made it to the neighborhood police station.

After consulting with the Sikh group, the Sindhi community organized a committee of five persons and decided to deliver the copies to a nearby Gurudwara.

Mahamandleshwar of Shree Panchayati Bada Udasin Akhara – Prayagraj Swami Hansraj, a follower of the Udasi Sampradaya, claimed that the Sindhi Hindu community has started the process of returning the copies of the Guru Granth Sahib throughout the nation to the gurudwaras because the Nihang Sikhs insulted the murtis of gods and gurus in the Sindhi temples.

He continued by saying that copies of the Sikh holy books would be distributed to local gurudwaras by Sindi Hindu temples in India and other countries.

The seer declared, “Sindhi Samaj is Sanatani, we would be practicing only Sanatani practices, and through panchayat/ community members across world Guru Granth from Temples would be handed over to Sikh community.”

“We are Sanatanis, we will practice our rituals. The Sindhi community is Sanatan dharmi. Even before Guru Granth was compiled, we Sindhis since time immemorial are following teachings of Vedas, Upanishads, Bhagvad Mahapuran, Bhagvad Gita. Our community should remain united,” he added.

Located primarily in northern India, the Udasi sect of sadhus practise asceticism. They were renowned interpreters and disseminators of Sikh philosophy in the 18th century after taking on the responsibility of looking after Sikh shrines. Their religious rituals, though, are almost a syncretism of Hinduism and Sikhism.
