Chhattisgarh: 100 kg cow dung collected for sale under Godhan Nyay Yojna stolen away

In a bizarre incident, a large quantity of cow dung was reportedly stolen at Rojhi village in Koriya district of Chhattisgarh. As per the report, a complaint was registered with the Gauthan Samiti by two farmers named Lalla Ram and Sem Lal after they discovered that a hundred kg of cow dung went missing. The farmers had accumulated the cow dung to sell it to the State government after it had launched the ‘Godhan Nyay Yojana’ to buy it for ₹2 per kg from cattle owners.

Cow dung used for innovative products

Reportedly, the Gauthan Samiti members then approached the local police and filed a complaint. In recent months, the sale of cow dung by farmers had helped in the development of innovative, eco-friendly products including such as lamp posts, idols, and Rakhis. The hundred-kgs of cow dung was reportedly stolen by locals who returned it after realising the inconvenience caused to the Samiti and the villagers. As per the report, the issue was resolved among the villagers and official intervention was avoided.

Gauthan Samitis in Chhattisgarh

Reportedly, the Congress government had transferred ₹1.65 crore rupees to the bank accounts of 46000 cattle owners as payment for the cow dung. Chhattisgarh has sanctioned over 5330 cattle-shed premises (called Gauthan) under the Suraaji Gaon Yojna Reportedly, 2408 such Gauthans are operational in rural areas whereas 377 are already working in the urban areas.

The Godhan Nyay Yojna was launched by Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel in July on the occasion of the Hareli festival. It aims to enrich rural economy by helping the farmers earn money by selling organic manure, and empowering women self-help groups to develop vermin-compost, animal care centres, and reduce dependency on chemical fertilisers.

Rajasthan: Muslim auto driver was thrashed by drunk miscreants for tobacco and money, communal angle not confirmed by police

On Saturday, a 52-year-old Muslim auto driver named Gapphar Ahmad had reportedly claimed that he was thrashed by miscreants in Sikar in Rajasthan. He alleged that the assaulters forced him to chant slogans such as ‘Jai Shri Ram’ and ‘Modi Zindabad.’

Accused demanded tobacco and alcohol

As per the report, the victim had lodged a complaint at the Sikar Sadar police station after he was brutally assaulted by a group of people. According to the Sikar police officials, the incident took place at Kalyan Circle when Ahmed was returning from the village after deboarding his passengers. The accused had initially asked for tobacco and money to purchase alcohol, following which a verbal confrontation ensued between the victim and the perpetrators.

Sikar police arrests accused within an hour

Reportedly, the accused had chased the auto driver, assaulted him brutally, and snatched money from the victim. The Sikar police nabbed the accused within an hour of the registration of the First Information Report (FIR). No confirmation on the ‘communal angle’

Reportedly, the accused have a long criminal history of robbery, loot, and assault. They have been identified as one Shambhu Dayal and Rajendra. While Shambhu has 6 cases registered in his name, Rajendra too has a history of assault and several cases have been registered against him under SC/ST Act. While OpIndia does not rule out the presence of any communal angle, the media have irresponsibly attributed several instances of regular criminal assault as ‘hate crimes against Muslims.’

Media peddles fake communal agenda

Last year in July, reports emerged that a Muslim auto driver named Aatib was allegedly locked up inside a public toilet by three people in Kanpur for refusing to chant ‘Jai Shree Ram.’ The Telegraph had reported that Aatib was asked by the customers who hired his auto to chant ‘Jai Shri Ram’ after they refused to pay the fare. However, the allegations that Aatib was forced to chant Jai Shri Ram turned out to be false. According to Police, the men who boarded Aatib’s auto were drunk and matters escalated when they refused to pay the fare and got into a heated argument. However, Aatib was not forced to chant ‘Jai Shri Ram’ as claims made by Aatib. SP South Raveena Tyagi confirmed to OpIndia that the news of Aatib being forced to chant ‘Jai Shri Ram’ was false.

“Mumbai gave him prosperity, not Bihar”: Sanjay Raut attacks Sushant Singh Rajput’s family, throws mud on deceased actor’s father

Shiv Sena’s Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Raut hit a new low on Sunday after he made objectionable comments against Bihar claiming that it was Mumbai which gave actor Sushant Singh Rajput the prosperity and not Bihar.

In an article written in Sena mouthpiece over the ongoing the fiasco over the death case of Sushant Singh Rajput, Sanjay Raut said that the Bihar government should not have interfered in the matter of Sushant Singh Rajput as the actor was a Mumbaikar. Raut claimed that it was Mumbai which gave the actor prosperity during his struggle and not Bihar.

“Bihar government should not have interfered in the matter of Sushant Singh Rajput. Over the last few years, Sushant was a Mumbaikar. Mumbai gave him prosperity and Bihar didn’t stand by him during his struggle,” an article in Sena mouthpiece Saamna read.

The shocking statements by Sanjay Raut come in the backdrop of the feud between the Mumbai Police and the Bihar police over the jurisdiction issue of the death case of Sushant Singh Rajput. Initially, Bihar asked for CBI investigation last week after Sushant Rajput’s family sought a probe by the agency. Meanwhile, the Maharashtra government has been facing strong criticism for its dishonesty in probing the case.

Amidst the criticism against the Uddhav Thackeray-led government, Sanjay Raut on Sunday also claimed “pressure tactics” were being used in the case of actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death and the issue was being politicised as part of a conspiracy against Maharashtra.

Raut’s ad hominem attack on Sushant Singh Rajput and his family

The Shiv Sena spokesperson also made a shocking personal attack on the deceased actor claiming that initial investigations have revealed that Sushant was not on good terms with his father KK Singh. “How many times did Sushant meet his father?” he asked.

Further, he said that the relationship between the father and the son had deteriorated after his father had got a second marriage. Sanjay Raut alleged that Sushant’s father lived in Patna and Sushant was not happy about it. His emotional connection to his father was lost, said Sanjay Raut.

“His father’s second marriage was not acceptable to him (Rajput). Let the facts come out how many times Rajput visited his family in Patna. Why did (Rajput’s former girlfriend) Anita Lokhande split from Rajput and this should be part of the probe. It is wrong to see the unfortunate suicide from a political angle,” he said.

Rhea Chakraborty leaks WhatsApp conversation to accuse that Sushant Singh Rajput considered his sister Priyanka as ‘pure evil’

0

The blame games are not going to end in Sushant Singh Rajput’s case anytime soon. While the case has become a war between police departments of two states, the allegations have now been put in the public domain by Rhea Chakraborty against Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister. In a recently shared un-dated WhatsApp chat accessed by India Today, Rhea has tried to draw a picture against Rajput’s sister.

In the chat, Sushant is telling Rhea that his sister is trying to manipulate Sid that is believed to be his roommate Siddharth Pithani. Sushant said, “Your family is very epic. Showik is compassionate, and you too who are mine, you are a sufficient cause for the inevitable change and respite globally. It will be a pleasure for me to be around you folks Cheers, my friend, for being a rockstar.”

If the chat messages are to be believed, Rajput called his sister “Pure Evil.” He said that his sister is going against the teaching of their mother. He wrote to his sister, “If you’re blinded by your ego, God bless you because I’m not afraid and I will continue doing what I’ve done till now in bringing out the necessary changes in the world. Let God and nature decide what ‘act’ is right now.”

Complaint against Rhea and CBI’s involvement

Sushant’s father registered a complaint against Rhea in Bihar. When Bihar police reached Mumbai, the Mumbai Police refused to provide any support to the team. The turf war between two police departments went too far, and BMC quarantined an IAS officer of Bihar Police that was criticized by the Supreme Court as well.

Ankita Lokhande, Sushant’s ex-girlfriend and a colleague, played an important role in the case as she shared details of the conversation between her and Sushant with Bihar Police and Sushant’s family. She also helped Bihar Police on their arrival in Mumbai during the investigation.

Bihar Police requested the union government to order CBI probe in the case which was accepted and conveyed to the Supreme Court as well when a hearing on Rhea’s plea was going on to shift the case to Mumbai. The Central Bureau of Investigation registered a case after receiving approval from the government.

Enforcement Directorate also registered a case of money laundering against Rhea Chakraborty to investigate withdrawal of 15 crores from Sushant Singh Rajput’s account as alleged by Rajput’s father in his complaint.

Mumbai Police was running a separate investigation keeping the nepotism angle in mind and interrogated several high-profile celebrities including Mahesh Bhatt in the case.

Mocking Dalit leaders Arjun Ram Meghwal, Ramdas Athawale shielding Tablighi Jamaat: How liberal media betrays its bigotry

For quite some time, it has been clear that liberals have no faith in the principles they claim to profess. The much-hallowed principles of liberalism are merely sticks to beat their political opponents with and in reality, they do not practice what they preach. Such tendencies of liberals have never been more clear than they have been during the Coronavirus pandemic.

In the latest instance, the reactions that the news of Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal testing positive for the Wuhan Coronavirus has garnered reveals a lot about the mentality of liberals. They pretend to have a monopoly over empathy and yet, when the BJP MP from Bikaner, who is a Dalit, tested positive for the virus, their glee was evident from the comments they made on social media.

Propagandists at the NDTV reproduced a report by PTI with the headline, ‘Union Minister, Who Claimed Papad Helps Fight COVID-19, Tests Positive’. Readers would notice that no headlines were run along the lines of ‘Jamaatis, who claimed Allah will protect them from COVID-19, tests positive,’ were nowhere to be seen when scores of Jamaatis and their associates tested positive for the virus.

Similarly, headlines such as, ‘Jamaatis, who were told to trust angels before doctors, turn super spreaders of COVID-19’, were nowhere to be seen. News18 published a report on Arjun Ram Meghwal as well with the headline, “Union Minister Who Endorsed ‘Papad’ to Boost Immunity against Coronavirus Tests Positive”.

News18 headline

Usual suspects could not hide their glee as well and jumped onto the scene to mock the Union Minister. ‘PIL activist’ Prashant Bhushan, who is currently in the dock for alleged contempt of court, asked whether Arjun Ram Meghwal had fed the papad to Home Minister Amit Shah as well.

Swati Chaturvedi, known to be a hateful troll on social media, jumped on the bandwagon as well to mock Arjun Ram Meghwal saying that he should have snacked on papad to cure the Coronavirus.

Similarly, Union Minister Ramdas Athawale’s ‘Go Corona’ slogan was also relentlessly mocked.

While clearly neither the slogan nor the papad were cure for coronavirus and neither did the two gentlemen portrayed them as one, the fact that the ‘liberals’ and so-called guardian of Dalit rights chose to mock the two Dalit leaders two while keeping mum on the Tablighi Jamaat members and other Islamists who believed five-time namaaz will save them from coronavirus just shows their duplicity.

Thus, the same people who were branding others as bigots and hatemongers for legitimate criticism of Tablighi Jamaat are wasting no opportunity in mocking Arjun Ram Meghwal after the Union Minister tested positive for the virus. Furthermore, it is also evident to note that nowhere did the Dalit leaders urge anyone to defy Coronavirus guidelines. This is in stark contrast to the conduct of the Jamaatis and significant sections of the Muslim community who were urged to defy guidelines by clerics in the name of Islam.

In fact, the Shaheen Bagh ‘protestors’ refused to budge from the road block claiming that coronavirus is a conspiracy by the government and that the Chinese virus does not exist. Similarly, many Islamists on TikTok very actively and vocally advocated flouting social distancing norms and going to the mosque for prayers and hugging because ‘Allah will protect’. And while the Dalit leaders are a subject of ridicule, the Islamists were not.

Liberals and the mainstream media, when it came to the Muslim community, were working over time to whitewash the bigotry of the Jamaatis and sections of the Muslim community. However, when it came a Hindu person, the mainstream media and ‘liberal intellectuals’ had no compunction in mocking him for testing positive for the Coronavirus.

This only serves to reveal the differential treatment that is meted out to individuals based on their religious identity. And unfailingly, it is Hindus who get the short end of the stick. All the sermons that were issued about not criticising and mocking Coronavirus patients were swiftly forgotten when Arjun Ram Meghwal was diagnosed with the virus.

It is also pertinent to remember that NDA Rajya Sabha MP Ramdas Athawale was mocked as well when he came up with a harmless song on the Coronavirus. But when Islamic clerics and Christian priests and nuns are subject to the same mockery, they claim bigotry and accused others of being ‘hatemongers’.

Ahead of peace talks, Afghanistan assembly approves release of 400 Islamic terrorists of Taliban

0

The grand assembly of Afghanistan – the Loya Jirga on Sunday approved the release of 400 hard-core Taliban prisoners as a goodwill gesture ahead of the beginning of peace talks with Islamic terrorist group Taliban intending to end the country’s worst civil war that has been going on for more than 19 years.

According to the reports, Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani had convened the assembly in the capital Kabul, in which some 3,200 Afghan community leaders and politicians had gathered to advise the government on whether the prisoners should be freed.

“In order to remove an obstacle, allow the start of the peace process and an end of bloodshed, the Loya Jirga approves the release of 400 Taliban,” the assembly said in a resolution. Afghan President Ashraf Ghani said, “Today, I will sign the release order of these 400 prisoners.”

A loya jirga is a special type of legal assembly, that brings together representatives from the various ethnic, religious, and tribal communities in Afghanistan. It is a highly respected centuries-old consultative body, which is considered the highest expression of the Afghan people.

Earlier, the Taliban terrorists had asserted that the release of these terrorists was a necessary pre-condition for entering peace talks with the government. With the release, the Afghan government will fulfil its pledge to release 5,000 Taliban prisoners.

Reportedly, the talks between the warring parties will start in Doha this week.

Meanwhile, the proposition of Afghanistan government releasing the last batch of Taliban prisoners, who are accused of carrying out some of the bloodiest attacks across Afghanistan, had triggered massive outrage among civilians and rights groups who questioned the morality of the peace process.

US President intends to achieve peace process by 2020 elections

However, ahead of November elections, US President Donald Trump is determined to achieve the peace process and fulfil one of his major campaign promise of ending America’s longest war in Afghanistan.

Once both the parties agree to a peace deal, the US forces will be brought down to “a number less than 5,000”, as said by Defence secretary Mark Esper on Saturday.

In a February pact allowing for the withdrawal of US troops, the US government and the Taliban had agreed on the release of the Taliban prisoners as a condition for the talks with Kabul.

Reports claim Sushant Singh Rajput’s former manager Disha Salian’s post-mortem report says she was found nude after her death, Mumbai police deny the reports

0

A new sensational fact has come to light in the case of mysterious death of Disha Salian, the former manager of Sushant Singh Rajput. Disha’s death has been claimed as suicide by Mumbai police, but it has been alleged that she was murdered and her case has link with the similar mysterious death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

According to the post mortem report of Disha Salian, her body was found nude, which was not revealed by the police so far. The report accessed by Republic TV shows that Disha Salian didn’t have clothes on her body when she was found dead after falling from the 14th floor of a building.

Screenshot from Republic TV showing Disha Salian’s post-mortem report

Under the heading ‘Sex, apparent age, race or cast. Description of clothes and of ornaments on the body’, the report states ‘Female, 28 years, nude body’.

In the next section on Condition of clothes – whether wet with water, stained with blood or soiled with vomit or feccal matter, the report again says ‘Nude body’.

This revelation has raised questions over the claim of Mumbai police that Disha had committed suicide, as it is unlikely that someone will remove all the clothes from body before jumping from 14th floor to commit suicide. This gives credence to the theory that Disha was raped and murdered.

Another disturbing fact that has emerged is that Disha Salian’s post-mortem was conducted two days after her death. While she had died on the night of 8-9 June, documents show that the post-mortem was done on 11th June.

It may be noted after Mumbai Police’s role in investigation in Sushant Singh Rajput death case was questioned by multiple quarters, the case was handed over to the CBI by the union govt on the request of Bihar Police. Now, similar demands to hand over Disha’s cases also to CBI has emerged after the post-mortem report came to light.

Mumbai police denies report

A day after the media reports claimed that Disha’s body was found without clothes, Mumbai police denied the reports. An official of the Mumbai police that the report is false, and added that Mumbai police had done a panchnama after reaching the spot. He also said that Disha’s parents were present at the spot.

The officer further added that the Mumbai police has the pictures of Disha’s dead body with her clothes on. These pictures will be produced in front of the authorities whenever required.

While Mumbai police have denied the naked body report, according to a report by India TV, they have decided to reopen the Disha Salian’s death case after new allegations surfaced over her death.
